Were you a bathroom breaker?

i swear my mother used to keep better track of my bladder than i did.

she'd sit me down occasionally for talks such as "i noticed you've been going to the bathroom a lot during the meetings lately maybe we need to cut down on what you drink on meeting nights" etc.

others would go 2 or 3 times a meeting and if i went twice a week i'd get a talk about it!

I forgot how I used to wait until paragraph 9 of the wt. Then I knew I was half way done, and went to the bathroom. That was my "reward" to my self. I could sit thru a lot, but that was my break. I forgot all about that. I am giggling about that now.

i ask this question because saki said this in another topic:and i would assume that a lot of people on this board left due to this board alone "proving" the lies of the wts.

so, it this true or false?

or is this mostly true or mostly false?

I had many questions. I asked around, and was told that I was listening to apostates. I wasn't, these were my own questions. So after two years of asking questions, I went online and looked. I was at a website, beliefnet.com and someone there sent me here.

After reading and reading I finally had a solid proof that it was not "the truth", and I left.

i attended my mother's memorial at the kingdom hall saturday afternoon.

even with the jw sermon tagged on, my cousin did a lovely service for her.

there were many jws and non-jws in attendence.

Will Israel be blown to kingdom come this year?

if you are familiar with michael drosnins book "the bible code" then you have a better idea of how to respond.

is the bible code a bunch of malarkey or does it have some "truth" to it.

after all, there is a war going on right now in the middle east with syria, iran, lebanon and others all against israel.. will an escalating war cause the watchtower to print articles like" armageddon at hand!".

As for the j.w.'s using this, they already are. ie: convention = "Deliverance at Hand". Need I say more? This is their great opportunity to shake up the R+F masses.

My mother was watching the news tonight, and started to cry. I asked her, isn't this what you've been praying for? Why are you crying? She told me how all of her grandchildren are going to die, as well as all of her children. It breaks my heart when she gets like that. Yea, they will use it to scare everyone to do more. Give more, preach more.

so, the other day i was just humming to myself, nothing inparticular then blow me down and inside out, i recognized i was humming a kingdumb song!!!

i nearly pewked!!

how many times did the chairman at the meetings address the whole cong as "brothers" where you are?

one [note... one of many] of my peeves was this one guy in particular would always address everyone there as brothers, whether the wore skirts of not.

now brothers, yes that includes the brothers in skirts with long hair and earings..... .

It is only brothers, until a sister has seduced them into bad behaivor, you know like., Adam and Eve.

When my mom started studying, I was 14. I remember her taking me to the kh for the first time. There were four "brothers" there talking to me. They had me backed against the wall, where the coats were hung up. I was the bad one. I was tempting them by talking to them. Forget that there were four of them, and I was to the wall. I was 14, and they were in their 20's. I remember my mother telling me, "they want to keep their boys clean. You should not have showed your knees." Yep, it was all my fault.

yes i am quitting the forum ,,, i cant keep up with you all.

i cant remember whos who, so very happy that we have many many new ones,,,, .

let me tell you i love you all ...i have been so respected by you all & shown much unconditional love..... i know many have my home e-mail..... so if any want to - they know what to do.. i have been on here a long time.... gus,gus ( my wonderful daughter still posts on occasions.

Announcement: Another favorable court ruling regarding Napa County lawsuit

i'm thrilled to tell you about the latest court decision made in california a few days ago which kimberlee norris said would be announced today, monday, on jwd.. on july 3rd, i started a thread where the last two rulings in the napa county, california lawsuit, charissa w. v. watchtower, new york, et al., were posted.

both decisions were favorable to the plaintiff.
