so now "this generation" is simply the disciples who see all the many different features of the sign?.

i love science and technology and we are living in a golden age right now.

the world has changed in so many incredible ways just in the time i've been alive.. my first car was a vauxhall viva.

it was brilliant because it was my first car and represented freedom.

I have to admit to preferring older vehicles. Recently my Saab 9-5 was written off, and the insurance company provided me with an all singing all dancing Vauxhall for a month. It was horrible, no driver feel at all. I now drive an old low-mileage Jag and love getting back to basic motoring. Admittedly it's still fuel injection instead of a carb model, so the tweaking possibilities are somewhat limited, but it still goes like s*it of a shovel.

however, she insists on peeing in the middle of my beautifully tended lawn, which, as a consequence, is now covered in brown patches.

i've remonstrated with her a number of times and each time she purports to show a diplay of repentance, that is, she slinks away on her belly with her ears flattened down tightly to her head.

Oh dear - the reality of Josie's situation really hit home this morning. On her early morning walk around the park she was totally shunned by Elsie the golden retriever and even Buster the Staffordshire terrier, a dog that the others have been marking for a while, gave her the cold shoulder. I fear that the only friend that she will have left will be Savannah, an apostate German Shepherd who has been trying to mislead her for some time now.

She also looks at me soulfully and nuzzles away at my feet hoping to regain my approval. However, she repeatedly re-offends, so much so that I gathered the family around in order to give her a public reproof, whereupon she did howl most piteously to be allowed back into the bosom of the family.

Regrettably, Josie has sinned once again and another brown patch will soon appear as a testament towards her wrongdoings. Obviously her repentance was not genuine, had it have been so there would have been no repetition of her earlier behaviour. I believe that her conduct is indeed bordering on brazen, so I am minded to disfellowship her forthwith.But this is where I am faced with a dilemma:

As Josie is still living at home, what association should I continue to have with her, if any? The WT said that it might even be possible to have none at all. Obviously our tummy-tickling relationship is now at an end as is our throw a ball and bring it back escapades. But what verbal contact should we have between us now? Should it be confined to absolutely essential matters or would a degree of doggerel be in order? And should I put her food bowl outside so that she doesn't join us under the table when the family are eating? Is this what my disfellowshipped dog needs to see? Or maybe I'm just barking up the wrong tree...

Some demons delight in haunting a place. So if you experience trouble shortly after moving into a house, investigate. Was the house unoccupied for a long time? Why? Did people frequently move in and out? Why? Does it have a history of being haunted? Neighbors usually know, though the seller of a house almost always keeps the fact concealed.

But if a house has a clean history, instead of moving out, investigate objects in the house. If you at one time practiced black magic, witchcraft or other form of spiritism, did you burn up all articles relating to demonism upon learning of God’s truth? Get rid of every vestige of demonism. What did the early Christians in Ephesus do? On learning true Christianity they burned up all their magic books, even though their value was an astounding 50,000 pieces of silver! Using the handbag in the ministry, she experienced powerful thoughts of “Go home!” Bad thoughts rushed into her mind almost audibly, all of them anti-kingdom. She could not understand herself, as these negative thoughts entered her mind as if by telephone, so that she complained of “hearing herself think.” Only after getting rid of the handbag did she get relief.

Sometimes keeping a letter from a spiritistic relative has brought trouble. Some persons have reported gaining relief by burning letters from relatives who dabble in spiritism. Even if an article from a spiritist is an expensive one, is keeping it worth the danger? One woman was tormented for years by the demons; finally she got rid of many household effects that came from a spiritistic relative. “The material loss,” she wrote, “was worth the peaceful calm that came over our house and family.”

I think I must have been under frequent demon attacks. Every time I went out in the ministry, I always experienced powerful thoughts of "Go home!"

I have a parrot named Nelson. He's very unusual in that he is right-footed. Parrots are the only birds that can hold their food in their foot whilst they eat. Most are left-footed.

I found that out in just a few seconds using Google.

BTW, he doesn't sing Kingdom melodies but he can whistle his way through the National Emblem march.
