Living a double life I can honestly say its not the best of both worlds, since I dont find much in the JW world uplifting. I would leave immediately if it wasnt for a few friends and family. So I am having the worst of one world and the average of the other so to speak. Living a double life until you are 67 (as one in this thread) doesnt seem very fun, I am thinking that I must leave somehow before that age. But sometimes I am thinking thats its maybe good to have some insight and inside information in this cult, anyone feel that way?

Over 1,000,000 in attendance and you are worried about tight pants?
by Separation of Powers inyou know, rarely in the history of the org has a group this large congregated to hear from "mother.
" they incessantly speak of the huge group that met at yankee stadium in 1958...the over 250,000 that congregated to be instructed by jehovah.
but over the weekend, there were over 1,000,000 people excited to hear some type of direction, some type of encouragement, something to help them hang on "just a little longer.".

Don't bother reading this
by disposable hero of hypocrisy ini'm just bored.
i'm currently (right now) running a mic up and down the aisles, recognising the faulty logic, one line platitudes, and indoctrination techniques.
i like posting while on active duty.

I was also on the meeting today, incredible boring. My thoughts afterwards: I must come up with something to start my fade for real.

JW making music videos now?
by adjusted knowledge ini'm not sure if this is new since it is hard to keep up with the ever changing jw.
it is morphing so much.
i went to jw.org tv video for november and around 53 or 54 minutes into the broadcast the gb guy introduce a music video called "we won't forget you".

I saw an other one, have forgotten its name. But they sang something about "this is the best life". I was really surprised, kind of a pop song. Isnt that what a lots of other religions and cults are doing? One more evidence for me that it is a cult.

Circuit assembly symposium: help those who have become inactive
by rosyray ini just discovered that the circuit assembly my family is attending tomorrow contains a symposium entitled:.
help others to seek jehovah's righteousness: those who have become inactive.
i poked around a bit on here and didn't find any comments about this.

Be Honest: Were You Ever Jealous When Someone Was Appointed a Pioneer, MS or Elder?
by minimus ini knew some that were very happy for you and others, along with their families, that were envious of someone's advancement.. .

I always think: Dont they have anything better to do? Something more fun or interesting? So no I am never jealous, have never been either.
