it would be a disaster!
And I think it will happen soon in Great Britain. They have an investigation from the charity commission there going on.
would it really affect them?
how would it affect volunteers at any construction project since that work would now be taxable.
any materials they buy would be taxable.

a short video with proof from the bible that the ones going to "heaven" are not meant to stay there forever, but just to meet jesus there (at the rapture) and be with him forever, on earth, not in heaven!.
@ Clambake
For a few weeks now I've been reading a lot on their website and saw notheing on unitarians or that guy you mentioned.
Actually from what I see I they do not promote any particular church. They mention it is good to have fellowship with other Christians but from what I understand they mean the church / group you already are part of, or just other christian friends.
They say the church of God are all true Christians on Earth, no matter the denomination - this is something I believe, too.
this was going through my mind last night.. reviewing 2 key scriptures - james 1:27 - orphans and widows.
and micah 6:8 - what is god asking back?.
so, i start looking for this verse on www.biblehub.com, but every translation says "requires.".
JW's preach salvation by works, but after Jesus' sacrifice, salvation is by faith. This is what they do not get, but it is very simple and clear explained in the Bible. And this was a part of the Sacret Secret that God revealed only after Jesus' sacrifice. They do not fully get the meaning of Jesus' sacrifice.

The audio book is free on their website.
The kindle edition is 2$, so I do not believe he's preaching for the money.
I believe what he says, it makes sense. And it makes the whole bible logical.
One hope - all will have eternal life on earth, all christians will be raptured to meet Jesus in the sky but after they come with Christ when he conquers the Earth. There will be a 1000 Millennial Kingdom on Earth, after there will be a new earth and new sky, everlasting, given by God to humans (the city coming out of heaven).

referring to tim3l0rd who posted 12 days ago following message (see below) and the postings in which the "scattered" non organised anointed from 100 ce - 1900 ce are discussed, and the parabel of the weed among the wheat, i found out that it is not necessary at all that a "slave class" of anointed does itself distincts frome the weed , founds a new separated church, declares itself clean and holy, and begins a denunciating and destructive unnecessary harvesting.
the slave class of anointed should have better remained in the church and waited for jesus judgement.basis: .
tim310rd wrote: this goes along with the 2013 wt that changed the definition of the fdsl.
Interesting.
I suppose it is not ok for us to criticize the wt, too. Or maybe just worthless use of our time ....
I've been thinking lately: should I stay in the org and just believe what I believe?
What bothers me about them is their exclusivism, interdictions to visit other churches / christian meetings, and other unbiblical interdictions. (And the fact that if you suddenly start partaking they think you are crazy)
a witness friend wanted to meet up recently and talk.
since this person was a close friend and who i thought had a level head, i'd go ahead and speak with him.
our conversation actually helped me figure a few things out not only for myself but also about the witnesses.. so we're talking and i'm telling him my experience and the doctrines that i disagreed with as well as the scandals that made me disgusted with the organization.
Most of them do not want to wake up and here is why.
This religion gives them a sense of importance. The rest of the world does not understand "the truth". Only they do. The rest of the world will be destroyed, only them will survive.
I talked to a friend who does not go to meetings anymore and has waken up. Her sister is a devoted jw. She said that if her sister would see and accept all the facts about this religion and understand that it is not the one and only religion chosen by God, she would probably die in the same day. Her life has no meaning and no sense outside of this religion.
I also tried to talk to some jw's to reason that people will not be judged by the simple fact that they are a part of this organization or not, that other christians in other religions will be saved.
They can not and do not want to accept this. Most of jw's think like this. TheY can not cope with the thought of other people in other religions being saved.
All their feelings and thoughts of self identity and self-esteem are linked to this religion.
so something i never knew was the fact jw's were taught that jesus is only the mediator for the anointed class and not for everyone.
i only found this out after reading "crisis of conscience" and i was actually pretty shocked to learn so.
if that is the case, when they pray why even bother saying the words "in the name of jesus christ we ask"?
I am sure more than 80% of jw's have no idea of this doctrine.
It is a hidden but main doctrine!
i dound an interesting site from a christian group that has similar doctrines - but more sound i'd say.
they have free audio books and free podcasts.
if you read / listen, what do you think of them?.
Listen to their audio books or poscasts.
Very interesting. All ideas are supported by the Bible. And they do not believe christians should leave their congregations, they believe all christians are saved.
They define themselves as a para-church organization.
"Para" meaning:
Parachurch organizations are Christian faith-based organizations that usually carry out their mission independent of church oversight. The prefix para, is Greek for beside,or alongside.

Thank you Searcher!
And before that there is this sentence:
Jesus Christ is not the mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind. He is the mediator between Jehovah and the spiritual israel which is limited to 144000 ...
