  Dragging Jehovah's name trough the mud!

  listening to the first survivor testify to the australian royal commission really brought back some feelings i had put aside.. the feelings of guilt you feel for doing the right thing is extremely hard even when you know it's illogical it doesn't stop the abuse you do to yourself with these toxic thoughts of "dragging jehovah's name through the mud" i guess it doesn't help that you have the elders freaking out saying "reproach, reproach...this is bad!!

  it took quite awhile for me to come to terms with how completely ridicules it is to think jehovah would want this hidden.

  the truth is the religion wants it hidden and they are perfectly fine with destroying lives along the way!!

  The only reason why I am sorry this happens is Jehovah's name.

  They shouldn't have used His name for their organization. It only shows how puffed and full of themselves they were and are.

  i'm not here to attack the governing body, watchtower society, or the jehovah's witnesses (jw) organization.

  the bible says there is just "one hope" for christians (ephesians 4:4).

  You should read about dispensation theory.

  They say we now live in the dispensation or administration of the church / of the grace / sacred sectret.

  During this time, the only christian hope is heaven, and christians getting a glorified unperishable body (when they are resurrected or raptured) similar to Christ's body after resurrection.

  This period ends with the rapture and is followed by the last week of Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy. During that time tribulation comes to earth, salvation will be through deeds not just faith, some of Israel will accept Jesus and it all ends with Jesus coming back, and the raptured church with Him, to administer and rule the earth for 1000 years. (I believe they will rule over all "unjust" people who will be resurrected as fleshly humans, who are resurrected but not saved yet, as they do not get "glorified" unperishable bodies)

  You can check dispensation, premilenarism, pre tribulation rapture. (english is not my first language and I might have misspelled some terms)

  how much was the ransom?

  gods justice did not require an exact equivalent man-for-man sacrifice between the first adam and jesus, the second adam.

  gods gift required more.

  Do you think God enjoyed the sacrifice of Jesus? No He did not, He let it happen for us, so we may be purified and allowed to get close to Him again.

  God is holy.

  Without Jesus' sacrifice it wouldn't have been possible for us to get close to God again.

  when i began formal study of religion and biblical analysis it was like peeling off layer after layer of dark matter, sticky and putrid that had stuck over my eyes and ears and mouth.

  i learned that under the watchtower one only builds a widening gap between yourself and the world of biblical academia and scholars.

  i used to think i knew a lot because i learned to quote a few scholars or lexicons as a witness.

  I would not call the first century Christians Catholic. They were simple christians.

  I think Catholicism began when the roman empire adopted the christian religion as an official religion.

  Maybe the Catholics claim that they started with Peter, but I am sure Peter had nothing to do with them and / or their believes.

  I think the claim of the catholic church that they started with Peter or that Peter is their founder is similar with the claim that JW's make that Jesus is their head or that Jesus is guiding them from heaven.

  after that, they get together and they all have the same thought about the issue.. what are the craziest ideas you heard about the way they are "guided".

  Just read the article ... it is disgusting! so they got this "lightning" idea from communicating with the dead and they admit it!

  Shouldn't a people ask his God and not the dead ones?

  Whatever Happened to the Remnant?

  back in the 50's, when i was just a skinny kid, my father became po of a new congregation.

  he'd only been baptised for around 4 years, so his rise was quite remarkable.just one of his flock in the new cachement area was of the "remnant".

  this lady was well into her 60's, childless but married.

  I just read about Horus on wiki, it says absolutely nothing about any kind similarities between horus and Jesus.

  And my faith is not build on what any pope or so called "saint" said against Jesus.

  Trinity was invented in 381 ad.

  It is for God to decide what was needed as a ransom and He decided: the blood of a perfect human life.
