a member of the esprit-saint mission told cbc news reporter thomas daigle that vaccinations are against the community's beliefs and that their prophet warns them vaccines result in illness.

the member confirmed the first cases of measles in the region originated with the community.the esprit-saint eugenics group was founded by eugene richer dit lafleche in 1913. the community purports to live by and work toward spreading the message of the third member of the trinity, the holy spirit.a former member of the community said it believes vaccines compromise people's immune systems, and that they feel protected by the spirit of dit la fleche, who died in 1925.public health officials said wednesday they believe the number of infections will continue to climb.. this article sounded interesting - i was reminded of how similar this cult's views on vaccinations are to the jws view, especially back in the 1920s to the 1950s.

whatever happened to the five women that charles russell named as trustees for the voting shares he left to the watchtower society in his will?.

i have already donated to the watch tower bible and tract society all my voting shares therein, putting the same in the hands of five trustees, as follows: sr. e. louise hamilton; sr. almeta m. nation robison; sr. j. g. herr; sr. c. tomlins; sr. alice g. james.

these trustees shall serve for life.

a noble feat, you may think.

and how wonderful that jehovahs message can reach the far ends of the world in so many languages!.

Question about the HLC and medical records

the hlc was established after i left the jws.

here in canada, the hlc was piloted back in the early 70s and that is when i had a personal encounter with the men in white shirts and shiny black shoes who took away my right to make medical decisions.. i am not very familiar with the internal doings of the hlc, other than that they hold the jw patient's life in their hands.. when the hospital liaison committee becomes involved in a jw patient's health care, what type of information is sent to the watchtower headquarters, and does the watchtower society receive copies of the patient's medical records?

if so, does the society maintain a database/library of historical medical cases that the hlc has been involved in?

i really liked his videos, both the ones he did about the german jws and the other videos he posted (im himmel and pompfinewra are incredible).

the watchtower society blood doctrine is intricately linked to clinical trials in blood technology.

the wts deliberately changes and manipulates the blood doctrine in order to fill the requirements for medical testing in the field of blood technology.

it has been happening since the start of the blood ban and has continued for the last 70 years, leaving untold numbers of dead and maimed jws in the wake of the societys quest for everlasting life here on earth.. .

i watched an episode of "lie to me" on netflix that piqued my curiosity.. .

in the episode truth or consequences, a cult leader is investigated by the irs to determine if his cult has tax exemption or not.. one of the criteria that has to be met in order to be a legitimate 'church' or 'religion' in the eyes of the irs is that the members have to display "genuine belief'.. here is the portion of the script that speaks of this:.

does anybody know what kind of 'contract' would be required from the society for the administration of bloodless medicine?.
