  I grew up in country like this in Montana and I often miss the mountains. It gets in your blood. Banf is absolutely gorgeous, you should get down to see Glacier National Park and Waterton Parks too.

  Can a staunch Democrat be good friends with a staunch Republican?

  for those with strong political views, is it impossible to be really good friends with someone on the other side?

  my very best friends either tend to think like me on the political continuum or have no care whatsoever for politics.

  those with exceptionally strong leaning toward the other party tend to get mean and nasty in political discussions which invariably deteriorate hopes for a deeper friendship.. what has been your experience?.

  Yes, it is possible to get along and even marry an exact political opposite. My ex-husband and I used to joke about it on our way to the polling place, we'd be going to cancel out each other's votes. BTW he's an ex NOT because of politics.

  hello fellow forum members, i am very new here, and feel it is time to share a little about myself.

  this site has gotten me quite riled up again, and even after many years my experience is not memorable and still upsets me when i think of it.

  my beginning experience of joining the jw organization at age 6 was not unpleasant at all, and was not for many years.

  for now, i am very interested in opinions/theories based on the nephalim, fallen angels, and their possible connection to the gods of greek mythology.

  i've been doing alot of online reading on this topic again and there is so much to read it boggles the mind.

  I'm not sure if this will help, but have you ever read any of Joseph Campbells work? I think it's Joseph, he did a book entitled "The Power of Myth" among a lot of others. You might find something in his stuff.
