Those monkeys look like they're Pee-ing in the pool. Check out their faces!
Call me strange, but in a survival scenario, I'd only drink my own -- after I cycled it through a solar still.

Right, so christianity isn't part of this definition.
I agree. I think the definition is just precise language like a mathematic formulae. It is when you plug actual values into the varialbes that interesting answers come to light.
Christianity just being one of many belief systems, having many variations within itself. I think that almost any belief system can be fit into this definition. That last is not meant as an absolute.
it has happened... my sister is pregnant... and i have very mixed emotions about it.. i am so happy for her, i know they've been trying for a while and it's what she really wants.
it will make her happy.
and i love my nieces and nephews, i know i will love her child just as much.
I'm sorry for your frustration, I don't blame you. All you can do is love that little person as much as you can.
lane convention, the son of the society?s premiere attorney, committed suicide, because he was gay!
or at least was envoled in gay sex and drugs for many years!.
well, lane was a very good friend of mine.
Are we advocating promiscuity as a valid way to live here?
Are you saying that you believe all gay people are promiscuous? Surely you can do better than make such sloppy statements.
Your question is also offensive and uncharitable; you know full well that we are not advocating promiscuos behavior.
I am gay. I am not casual or promiscuous. If you said that to me in person I'd belt you one.
your assumptions show you to be the ass that you are.

I follow you SaintSatan. Like the people who told Columbus that the world is flat, told Galileo that the earth is the center of the universe, and told Chuck Yeager(is that the right guy?) that the sound barrier can not be broken. Their science has become their religion.
I am not saying that all scientists are like this. Anybody who thinks I was trying to say that is a moron. I believe that same holds for politicians and their followers. Their political views become like a religion.
i thought that the wts had all of the answers, but now i dont know anything for sure, i am comnvinced though of the existence of god and that thers is more to life than what we are experiencing now.
but i am not going to get imvolved in the mechanics of worhiping god via religion joining them or to get enveloed in those believes .
i have a simple philosophy.
That is somewhat me in a nutshell too. I am not to keen on debating the bible and religion, but I am happy discussing it openly.
Remember in Interview With A Vampire, when Lestadt/Tom Cruise was telling Loui?/Brad Pitt about when he became a vampire, and he "looked upon the world with my new vampire eyes"? That is what I try to do, see the world with my mind cleared of belief and assumptions.
p.s.-I really like that wolf avatar you have she/he is interesting

Cyberguy.
Thank you for posting this, it is very important, and worth more than the proverbial $.02.
I never actually attmepted suicide, but it was a constant fantasy. I didn't know other options were available. I didn't know that I could make other choices than the few that were presented to me by the WTS or society in general.
I survived only because I loved my family and friends enough that I did notwant to hurt them with my death. Granted, that is not the best reason, but it was A reason. With that keeping me alive, slowly over time, other more worthy reasons came to my attention.
I would say this to anybody who is suffering from suicidal tendencies. Live! Stay alive! Survive! THAT alone is your momentary purpose. God-the universe-You(pick one that suits you) put you here for a reason. Figure that reason out.
love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self control.
which do you find most difficult?.
(please correct me if i got them wrong, it's been a while since my mom made me recite them)
Love, Joy, Peace, Long Suffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Mildness, Self Control Which do you find most difficult?
I need self control. I am undisciplined and procrastinate. I try to be aware of when I am behaving that way, and that helps more than trying to assert control or being rigid.
Faith, hmm? I do not have the biblical definition of that, I think. I have faith (hope?) that the universe will unfold as it needs to, that good things are possible if we want them to be, and that if we are aware we can be in the right place and time to make the most of opportunities.
Without sounding like a smurf or hippie, I do try to create and spread positive energy around me. Kindness and love are preeminent to me.
have you undergone psychometric testing to see what kind of personality you are?
the following emode test is free, and will help identify your personality type:.

The future is unknowable and does not draw you in like the present.Whilst you have an overarching "awareness" of the future, and where you are heading, do you find that you can easily concentrate on the short-term goals to acheive that? I don't believe this category means that you pay no attention to the future, only that you spend more time in the here and now, busily "creating" the future that you are aware of.
(-1) (I believe that I create my future.)
OK, I am getting confused now, mostly because I am still up late in my part of the world.
I think that that part of the test evaluation is talking about people who worry or obsess about things. I am usually pretty good at avoiding that. I actually creat a visual in my imagination almost like a flow chart. Because I do that, I sometimes get overwhelmed easily. I have done alot the past few years to simplify my life.
I just lost my thought train, so I am going to wrap up here and go to bed. I'm a cronic insomniac, have been since the age of 14. I'll try and pick this up tomorrow. Good night.

So you believe yourself to be slightly more future focussed,
Yes, along the line of I have to make the right choices to get to the future I am seeing. I've got a knack for prescience.
I am trying to grow beyond my need for security. Your interpretation was dead on. I have found those tests to be fairly accurate for the most part, and I think I just didn't like the result of this one and another one. I am trying to figure out what part bothers me, and then work from there.and prefer stability to regular change?
Am I interpreting that correctly?
