I'm supporting Gen. Wes Clark. I honestly believe he's the only one who can beat George W. Bush. W. told us in the State of the Union/My First Campaign Speech that America is still in danger from terrorist threats. As the former commander of NATO, Clark has more experience in foreign relations than anyone else running, including W. Clark also has sound plans for the domestic side of his presidency, you can read about them at www.clark04.com.
I honestly don't believe America can take four more years of W. I say this because under the Bush Administration we have gone from the largest surplus in history to the largest deficit in history, in only three years. Bush has refused to allow the UN to visit the POW camp at Guantanamo Bay. Why? Actions like this erode the reputation of our country. When the US was attaced on 9/11, he did lead us through a very difficult period in our history. However, in the months since then, he has alienated one ally of the US after another. We need the support of more countries than the UK, Australia, Spain and Poland in the Middle East. It truely needs to be a global effort.
I would like to say that I'm very sad that John McCain is not running. I would vote for him in a heartbeat.
