I have many emotions when it comes to the dubs: pity, sorrow, regret. But, the underlying emotion is ANGER. At them for teaching such a skewed "Christian" point of view. And, at me, for going along with it for so long, without questioning it.
I have forgiven myself now, because I realize that cults use the methods they do because they work. And, to escape from any cult takes a whole lot of strength.
I think that Blondie said it best:
Find a few good, loyal friends. Follow your dreams. It's only too late when you are dead.
The best revenge is living a full, happy life.

logo will air a series this fall that follows musicians (and twin brothers) jacob and joshua miller of the pop/rock group nemesis, according to broadcasting & cable.
but jacob & joshua: nemesis rising has even more drama in its premise: the brothers are gay and were raised as jehovahs witnesses, and now they live together with jacobs boyfriend in one apartment.

But Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising has even more drama in its premise: the brothers are gay and were “raised as Jehovah’s Witnesses,” and now they live together with Jacob’s boyfriend in one apartment.
In addition, they “have to deal with whether or not to come out to their religious family” and “face the issue of being marketed as openly gay musicians,” accordingto Logo blog New Now Next.
The show debuts Oct. 16 at 10 p.m. ET.

In memory of Jeff...
by nsrn ini was just remembering a childhood friend.
jeff was 2 years older than me, and our mothers were good friends, lifelong witness sisters.
jeff's dad was 'worldly,' and i can remember being envious that jeff didn't have to go out in service and was allowed to miss many meetings.
