"And what happened next was simply unbelievable!"
by Terry ini always sit in the same spot, just outside starbucks in a vestibule area with a table in the air-conditioned space.
i say "always," but not today.. somebody with two laptops and a table filled with business ledgers was in "my" favorite spot!.
so, i took a tiny wooden table inside the coffee shop on a long padded bench next to 3 other identical tables.. as the clickbait banner ads like to say: "and what happened next was simply unbelievable!".

My thoughts exactly @Data Dog! This video has alot of emotional appeal from impoverished third-world countries. The brother who mentions how a CO helped him only speaks vaguely regarding his issue. (I'd bet it involved higher education or even pursuing a steady career) He only said: "he helped me to see things in the RIGHT way." This video is BS and hopefully the congregations in the United States and other developed lands will see through this decent use of pathos.
Definitely a cult!

A difficult yet necessary decision
by Brother Jeramy inthe past five weeks have been perhaps the most painful in my life as a witness.. some months ago a young man (i'd say in his late thirties or early forties) began attending meetings at my kingdom hall.
he had just moved to my area from another state.
he had disassociated himself from his home congregation many years back, when he was 20 years old and going through many of the typical trials and temptations most young men experience.. two of the elders met with him initially, and they later shared the details with the body of elders.

So glad you've come to this conclusion.....and I envy your position to immediately exit this cult!

Should I hit send button as is? Change? Or just hit delete?
by Lied2NoMore inso after being deleted because of my comment on her instagram post by my sister-in-law i got a text from her stating she didn't want a debate on instagram and the scripture i posted would not apply to satan, they are worried about me, go see elders, return to jehovah, or else you won't get life, etc etc.... i'm ready to respond with the following reply:.
so....hit send?
make changes?

I would delete it. When an individual comes at you with "cult mode" on full automatic: there is little you can do to have a logical conversation with them. If you choose to send I later, be sure to edit your message so that it is more objective, goal-oriented, and doesn't break rapport. Have you looked into Steven Hassan's Strategic Interactive Approach? -

Interesting RC Experience
by Blackfalcon98 ini recently attended the rc for my area.
while there, i encountered a old family "friend" who recently lost her jw husband.
as the interaction proceeds she relates that her grand daughter, who's around my age (early twenties) has "left jehovah".

Unfortunately many of them leave before fully understanding TTATT only to come back later as an insurance policy for their kids.....Im hoping I get a few people to think while I'm still in -

I recently attended the RC for my area. While there, I encountered a old family "friend" who recently lost her JW husband. As the interaction proceeds she relates that her grand daughter, who's around my age (early twenties) has "left Jehovah". I then asked my mother if the young woman in question was "bright". She affirmed, and I felt so encouraged; I'm known for being a once zealous MS, who is currently an apathetic free-thinker/rebel. I felt powerless the entire RC, to intervene in the massive indoctrination of thousands who will waste their lives in this cult.

DOC just told em' to STFU lol
But seriously, slow down with the fam...and be sure to have a good excuse for the elders when you submit your letter requesting that you no longer be considered a pioneer. They will want to get into your business, but don't give them too much of a reason. It is not their concern what you do with YOUR time.
Best Wishes,
