  i've been inactive for 8 years.

  after they gave their presentation i told them i was inactive.

  Keep learning about the wonderful thing called Life. Life outside the Org is a wonderful thing once you shed yourself of the fear and guilt they want to keep you under.

  Outside of the few political/social/enviro issues going on in the world today (which are serious), now is the best time to be alive. People do have more material things but what they do with them and how they view them is the important thing. There are many millions of people who view them in a balanced manner and use their material wealth to help others. The Org likes to demonize everything material that is not given to them.

  You have many friends here who will not judge you.

  if the celebrity paparazzi can openly photograph the ongoings of the entertainment people, what would be the legal ramifications if any, if someone staked out the "higher-ups" of the wt and photographed their day to day activities outside of any golden compounds.

  do the directors of the corporations like don adams have personal residences outside of bethel?

  what kind of cars do they drive?

  Small details...

  a witness friend wanted to meet up recently and talk.

  since this person was a close friend and who i thought had a level head, i'd go ahead and speak with him.

  our conversation actually helped me figure a few things out not only for myself but also about the witnesses.. so we're talking and i'm telling him my experience and the doctrines that i disagreed with as well as the scandals that made me disgusted with the organization.

  Here's my reasoning on the "core doctrines"...........

  This list and table come from jwfacts. These are current groups that share the 'core doctrines' with JW's

  The following table shows that the key doctrines of Trinity, Soul, Salvation, Time Prophecies and Morals are almost the same for these four groups that started at a similar time borrowing similar ideas from similar people, so JW's are not unique in this aspect.

  Under the premise that Jah speaks only thru the Org, let's look at what Joshua said on the threshold of the Promised Land:

  (Joshua 21:43-45) . . .So Jehovah gave Israel all the land that he had sworn to give to their forefathers, and they proceeded to take possession of it and to dwell in it. 44 Furthermore, Jehovah gave them rest all around, according to everything that he had sworn to their forefathers, and not one of all their enemies stood before them. All their enemies Jehovah gave into their hand. 45 Not a promise failed out of all the good promise that Jehovah had made to the house of Israel; it all came true.

  It all came true because it was Jehovah who said it. In Deut chap 18 Jehovah tells us the difference when he says something and when men make things up.

  (Deuteronomy 18:20-22) . . .“‘However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. 21 And in case you should say in your heart: “How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken?” 22 when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it. You must not get frightened at him.’

  
  

  The "core truths" of soul, trinity, hellfire, etc. cannot be proven or disproven until we die. At that time and that time alone will we know if they are true or not. Outside of those core truths, EVERYTHING the WT has told us has had to have 'new light'. NOTHING that makes them unique as JW's has ever stayed true. NOTHING!! Tell them to make a list of everything that makes them unique as JW's that has ever stayed true without change or New Light.

  2+2=4 is a simple truth. It is true right now, it was true 2,000 years ago and it will still be true 2,000 years into the future. If something is said to be true it will NEVER become false at a later date. However the Org tells us Jah reveals truth thru them "progressively".

  Let's learn math in a progressive fashion:

  2+2=4 (simple math)

  200+200=400 (progressively harder math)

  1348 divided by 248 = 5.35 (progressively even harder math)

  The simple logic is that even though the math becomes progressively harder and advanced, all the previous answers are still true. The idea that "progressive" can mean that a 'truth' can become false at a later time and its only an "adjustment" is WT fabricated logic. It is another Logical Fallacy. The ONLY reason for "New Light" is because WT keeps painting itself into a corner with made up doctrines and has to lie to get its way out. And with the constant logical fallacies in every article/talk JW's are kept too stupid to realize it.

  If you keep hitting them with the fact that if Jah says something it will always come true. They have to agree with that and the Cognitive Dissonance will have a party in their heads.

  I thought it was good. Like Kairos said, there is NO WAY Morris would have answered ANY serious questions regardless who he thought it was coming from.
  

  If he thought it was coming from a Bethelite, he would have told them to take it up with their Bethel Elder (or whatever they have now). If he thought Lloyd was an R&F JW he would have said to write a letter. The way Lloyd handled it allowed him the time to tell him directly that he is a fraud. That would not have been accomplished with questions.

  I think there should be more of this type of thing sans the prank part. They try make us paranoid and scared of EVERYTHING and mistrusting of EVERYBODY, even those within our own congregations. And now they are using technology to spread that fear even farther. I think we need to do the same back on them. Use technology to make them paranoid. Make them be in fear and suspicious of everyone around them. They should be made to know on a regular basis that they are being watched and it may be their right-hand man that may be their worst enemy.

  Within the bounds of legality, isn't there someone close to HQ that can paparazzi these guys on a regular basis. Lets get some photos of them as they come and go from the compound. Lets get some photos of what cars they are driving in and so forth. If I lived in the area that is what I would be doing.

  The reason for my OP is that I'm writing a letter to my adult son who on our last visit told me he will now be "limiting" his association with me. He was recently appointed MS (something I should be proud of except now I fully know TTATT) so he is feeling pressure to tow the Party Line.
  

  I went thru an abrupt fade in mid 2013 with a marriage situation of being 10yr separated (her doing, mental illness) and fully divorced Feb 2014 (my doing, had enough of Org BS).

  I'm trying to make him understand how utterly insane my situation was in that no matter what I did I would never be an "Acceptable Person" within the Org. More on that in another post...............

  Here is my analogy list that will be included in the letter. Let me know what you think.

  
  

   

  ·         Cain - Jehovah sits back and does nothing while Cain plots and carries out the murder of his brother. Then after the deed is done Jah makes an escape plan for Cain.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Lot - Jehovah, just having destroyed two cities for homosexuality lets Lot have incestuous sex with his two daughters and that's OK.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

   

  ·         Aaron - Makes golden calf, bows to it. Nothing happens to him. In fact he is put in charge of the priesthood.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         David - An adulterer and murderer among other things. Other people punished for it and he gets to keep his kingship. Is considered "Jehovah's Friend".

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Bathsheba - Adulteress. Other people punished and the Messiah gets to come through her instead of David's other faithful wives.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Solomon - Directly disobeys Jah with marriage to foreign wives. Worships false gods, dies an "apostate" but kept his kingship throughout and is said will get a resurrection.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Manasseh - sacrificed his children to false gods. practiced spiritism. Jehovah punished him, he felt bad, ask for forgiveness. Jah forgives him completely and restores his kingship.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Jacob - Stole the birthright by lying.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Daniel - Dan 4:9 “‘O Bel·te·shaz′zar the chief of the magic-practicing priests". He would have had to practice and encourage spiritism to have this position yet Jehovah used him as a prophet.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Woman with flow of blood - She broke the Law concerning uncleaness and involved the Messiah in it no less. She was cured and commended for her faith.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Peter - Denied Jesus 3 times (same as renouncing one's faith in Hitler concentration camps) yet Jesus forgives him completely with no restrictions and he keeps his Apostleship and is given Keys to the Kingdom.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.

   

  ·         Paul - Persecutes the Christians in the extreme. Jesus uses him as a foremost Apostle.

                  But I can NEVER be an Acceptable Person in the Organization.
