  Do you have someone you trust?

  hi, i'm a newbie around here.

  i've been reading the posts, but reluctant to step out of my safe zone.

  i definitely see how coming to a safe place to ask questions, vent, etc.

  Welcome. I have recently joined this site and have read and received some great advice. This site will reassure you that you are not the problem. It is the crazy cult you are affiliated with. For years...I kept asking myself..."what is wrong with me?" It's not you! Once you start reading the things that have been done to some JW's (abuse) you will have an "ah ha" moment.    

  When you have been raised a JW you have been taught (brainwashed) that everyone that is not a JW is pure Evil. I thought this too. I have started getting to know non JW's better. I have found that some (the majority) are very nice people. Give them a chance. 

  Pay attention to the news. Look at all the wonderful people who give to charities, care for other people or who give of their time/money. If someone needs food or shelter, it is provided by caring people. They are out there.The JW's tell you to trust in Jehovah and give you a tract, magazine or book. There is good and evil in everything. Good and bad JW's...Good and bad non JW's. Just choose carefully. Open your heart and you may find some new friends.

  well, the switchover happened - there were a couple of things i had to fix which meant the posting was disabled for longer than i planned but it's now enabled and some people have already posted.. if you have any questions about the new format or suggestions on how to improve it, please post them here.. if you are having trouble signing in or posting then you'll need to email me instead.. many thanks to everyone for their patience during the changeover !.

  0 to 100 Real Quick? How many meetings can I miss w/o being harassed?

  missed two in a row and got no grief.

  should i keep the streak going and see what happens?.

  by the way, i made my college's basketball pratice squad, to help workout the team during scrimmages .

  1. Just tell the Elders that you and your mate can't stop having oral sex. Watch the Elders faces (priceless). Not only will most of the Brothers hate you (because they want it/or are doing it themselves). You have so much guilt that you can't attend meetings anymore. You have tried so hard (no pun intended) but just can't give it up (no pun intended). You have prayed, attended more meetings and have incressed your time in field service but you just can't stop. Cry ALOT...it will help. You will never see them again.

  2. Tell them you need financial help and you need help from the congregation. You will never see them again.

  3. Tell them you are moving and need some help moving all of your stuff. You will never see them again.

  SO EASY!!!!

  If there is a hell...I'll be there.

  Watchtower buys apt complex in Fishkill, NY

  jehovah's witnesses now owns a major apartment complex in the town of fishkill.. tenants say they've been told their leases will not be renewed.. the sale of the 250-unit rivercrest luxury apartments closed dec. 3, the deed on file at the dutchess county clerk's office shows.

  while sale price is not stated, the transfer tax indicates a transaction for $57 million.. rivercrest is a modern development west of route 9d just north of beacon and was a project of avr realty, which also developed other housing and commercial spaces in that area as well as projects in eight states.. the sale deed is between rivercrest development llc, based in yonkers, and watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc. as the buyer.

  It doesn't look like they have slowed down in the "time of the end." Things that make you hmmm.

  Looks like this is something they purchased so they can "use" the brothers/sisters to build their new Mega Complex. Once they need to thin out the herd they will dump it (along with the Brothers and Sisters) for a nice profit. If any of you on here have the "privilege" to volunteer at the new Warwick facility, try going there when the complex is complete and knock on the door. Tell them you helped build the facility and would like to dine with them. You'll be lucky if they even open the security gates for you. BTW...how many times was the word "privilege" mentioned in Sundays Watchtower?

  I wonder who will have the lake view suites at Warwick? Another hmmm. From what I hear from Ex Bethelites, there is quite a stir at Bethel for the "nice rooms."

  JW Gone Bad: You are absoulutely right! Elders and their wives just can't help themselves! Meddling drones. There are ALOT of people waking up and the internet is becoming a double edged sword for the org. Ha! The Bethel Boys are on here too (reading and watching). They can't help themselves either.

  The org is shooting themselves in the foot. Watch...it's gonna be fun. It will never completely go away but the best revenge is affecting someones cash flow. It's already starting to happen. Many Millionaires go bust...I've seen it before.

  I found this thread fascinating. I was a Lurker a year ago. Now I know the TTATT and could NEVER return.

  I am just curious about the current elders listed (XBEHERE, thedog1, pixel, Saltheart Foamfollower, Stand For Pure Worship, His Excellency and Socrateswannabe). Sorry if I do not have all the names. How are you all currently doing? It was difficult for me to fade, I can't imagine what it must be like for you and your families (being Elders).

  My Father was an elder (deceased) my entire life. I wonder how happy he was. He always hated JC committes and DF'ing. He was one of the good elders (not too many left nowdays). He probably (if he were alive today) have been set on the back burner like alot of the good ole timers.

  Like I said...your stories are facinating to me and I would love to also hear how all the former Elders/MS's and their families are holding up.

  We have to remember the Elders/Ex Elders wives too. Life is to Short (pg.6) had a sad story. How many Elders wives feel this way? So much damage has been done. I wonder how she and others like her are doing.

  Since my fade (about 2 years) I am finding true happiness and freedom I have never felt in my entire life. No more guilt, judging and watching the incredible hypocrisy.

  Governing Body at Bethel and their daily routine

  i never had the privilege to serve at bethel .. therefore, community help is greatly appreciated friends.. do the gb members have their own living quarters separate from the average jw?.

  does their "busy" schedule permit field service, if yes, how many hours a month?.

  how long are their weekly wednesday meetings?.

  These men (including the CO's) love the brothers and sisters with the money. I have witnessed it for years. They know the Brothers who supply the nice homes, vacation homes, best booze and entertainment. They are so detached from what the normal everyday working men and women have to struggle through. They could care less if you have given your last dime, they will gladly take it. Who wouldn't love all the attention and perks. Check out some of the homes they have sold and purchased. I wonder who got to stay in those nice places? Hmmm. Signing Bibles...just wrong.

  i just want the governing body to know how "happified" i am today.

  keep sending those branch letters to the congregation(s) about sending your donations in.

  not only did you humiliate the rank and file with your tony morris tight pants talk but now you are begging the same people you humiliated for money.

  I agree with Committee Chairman. People just don't have the money anymore. Some of the ones that do are getting fed up with all the money grabbing and decide to stop donating. Of course, there is a Sucker born every minute, these are the ones that will continue to support this organization. Maybe these "glorious men" should take their own advise. When my family was struggling in a bad economy we were told to trust and rely upon Jehovah. Hey Governing Body..."trust in Jehovah". Easier said than done!

  Isrealite men gave gifts, in proportion to the blessing the Jehovah had given him.

  Translation: "The more money you give the bigger the blessing Jehovah will give you?" Unbelieveable!

  I feel sorry for all the hardworking Brothers and Sisters, that really believe these guys are "the ones", who are barely making ends meet that are turning their last dollar over to these greedy men. I pray everyday that Karma (what goes around comes around) kicks these guys butts.

  It was read this week. We are in the US branch. It was titled donations in support of Kingdom interests worldwide. I hope someone has a copy to share with the rest of us.
