  My son finally got his first car

  on saturday my son finally got around to getting his driver's license, and then on monday, he bought his first car.

  you might be thinking he is 16 or 17, but you'd be wrong.

  he is almost 22 and in his third year of college.

  Not attracted to "spiritual" people?

  i was always into boys that had "wordly" tendencies, like giggling at innopropriate jokes, watching scary/horror movies, scary video games, and just being open minded.. even if i ever get together with anybody, he's either gonna be an "awake" jw that is not a stupid pioneer, ministerial servant, elder, etc., and is not as active in the org.

  if they're not a jw, maybe i could find someone i could get along with somewhere.

  it takes time.

  I married one of those. Laid back, great guy, great husband, great father and great overall man. He never wanted to be an MS or Elder. Marriage....going 30 plus years strong. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!!

  SECOND BEST DECISION I EVER MADE....LEAVING A CULT!!!

  WT, you can have all of your 23 plus year old "spiritual men." I'll take my wonderful husband!!!

  got this surprise in my letter box today.just got my personal invite for the memorial this year, through the letter box!

  i am pimo.

  goes to show how little info they have on me.they do not even know where i live and so thinking it is a "worldy" persons house pushed one through.

  We have not received ours yet.

  We received one last year with a note from an Elder. Guess what? He spelled my first and last name wrong!!! So much for those "little details" about caring for the flock. lol

  i have a jw wife who in 10 years of marriage i have never seen actually read the bible, never given a witness to me, never had a biblical discussion.

  for a number of years now hardly even reads the magazines.

  hi everyone, i got the news that the lawsuit against the watchtower for the child abuse issue has been accepted in quebec(canada).

  that means it can proceed further.

  it is a first victory.

  today while i was having my groceries checked out, a lovely woman came up next to me in the line.. i glanced over at her... her face screamed "i'm a pain in the ass!

  " she was obese and frumpy, and (i know maybe i'm projecting a little too much here...) she seemed to exude a sense of superiority, like, "i'm too good to be around these losers.".

  i paid for my food and made a point of being especially nice to the checker because i figured her next person was going to be unpleasant.. as i was gathering my things, the checker asked this lovely woman, "is plastic ok?
