  You May Now Embrace the Bride!

  just yesterday, a pimi jw that i've known for years told me that at the end of a wedding they recently attended in pennsylvania, usa, the "brother" that officiated the ceremony concluded by saying to the bride and groom, "you may now embrace the bride.

  no kissing.

  just a hug.

  wonderfully warm interview from "stop the shunning" channel host beth, with ex mormon morgan ( ex morgan).. morgan describes her young life and the process of waking up or, in mormon parlance, her "shelf breaking".

  there really are so many things we have in common, from young marriage to feeling personally responsible for saving everyone you have contact with that's not of your religion.

  morgan also describes both her father, her husband and her own fear of losing family and loved ones at the same time as loosing her religion and difficulty we all have whilst pretending we still believe or being pimo.. highly recommended viewing.https://youtu.be/upxirjvtpec .

  This is a fantastic video! I had to keep reminding myself that she was talking about being a Mormon. The similarities are stunning.

  It was worth the watch. I think what she says at the end is perfect. It gets better. Keep moving forward!! You are worthy and valuable! Great advise.

  after all these years, it seems to me that people do not properly take note of what happened on this date in 2001. for some, it’s like nothing major happened.

  a letter obtained by inq has shed light on the secretive methods the jehovah's witnesses are undertaking to erase the impact of child sexual abuse within the sect.. by georgia wilkins sept 10, 2019. a body representing the jehovah’s witnesses in australia has written to all elders of the group ordering them to destroy confidential records, including notes taken by elders investigating child sexual abuse, in an instruction that has enraged survivors of abuse inside the secretive christian sect.. in a letter obtained by inq, dated august 28, a body called the christian congregation of jehovah’s witnesses (australasia) instructs elders to destroy so-called judicial hearing records and certain congregation notes.. “we ask that each elder check his personal computer, or hard copy files, and even his meeting bag, to ensure that no confidential correspondence is retained outside the congregation’s confidential file,” the letter states.

  it also directs elders to destroy information aired against so-called “wrongdoers”: “if this ‘wild talk’ is recorded in detail, it may not be accurately assessed when reviewed out of context,” it says.

  I was a lucky one. Had a WONDERFUL Elder father. The best Dad in the world (just rooked into a cult).

  I remember one of my best friends used to have to pull his own switch from a weeping willow tree outside of the KH. His Dad used to leave marks on his legs. I wondered why he always wanted to spend time at my house.

  I tried watching that Herd talk but found myself furious. Ok....women have to know how to cook, clean and sew a damn button on? Oh my God...can you say 1950? Are you kidding? So many women I do business with could kick some butt in the business world. They are strong and smart and could teach these asshats a few things.

  Hey Head, how would you do if you weren't a taken care of WT drone? Could you support your family? Pay your rent/mortgage? Have decent insurance on you healthcare, car & home? Put food on your table? Pay for your car(s) and car repair and maintenance? These guys don't have a clue how the world outside of WT works. How can they , they have been locked up in their little JW bubble, with all their needs taken care of and being treated like a super star by all the drooling rank and file.

  These guys are out of touch and delusional!

  wtc has become adept at using tragedy as a means of raising cash.

  for example, when puerto rico was devastated by a hurricane, wtc directed a large number of congregations to donate $1500 each in supplies that would be used for relief purposes.

  it is not known how many congregations took part in this effort but the feedback suggests it was in the hundreds.

  You are correct there are MANY wealthy JW's in the South Fla area. I have met many. They LOVE to drink too (not the cheep stuff)! lol I have witnessed that as well.

  A still in JW family member ask us why WT has all these different "funds" they collect, why not just put it in one kittie (like the world wide work). Our response: Because they make more money when they produce a new "fund." If it didn't work, WT wouldn't continue doing it. She was speechless and the wheels were turning.

  to me, breakfast can be served at any time of the day.

  a local bar in my area serves breakfast all day long.

  for 5 bucks you get 2 eggs any way you like, bacon sausage or ham with home fries and toast!!

  Yes, most JW's give only to "their own (other JW's)."

  Our uber JW family could care less about anything outside of JW world. They do not care if you are going to school to achieve a degree, how your business or career is going or anything you have achieved. This is "chasing after the wind" in their opinion.

  Now...if you are going off the Beth hell, become an Elder or MS or recently joined the pioneer ranks, they want to hear all about that. Oh yeah, if they need money or someone to help them move, they will then find what you do interesting. In other words, they will use you.

  she was on one of the witnessing carts in town at a station i don’t usually get off at.

  i did today as i was dropping my daughter off somewhere.
