what unique to jws phrases do you remember?
something fun for those of us taught to speak an entirely unique and pure language.
there have been posts in the past in this forum but perhaps some have new ones after having kept up with jehovah's chariot as the light gets brighter.
"exemplary ones" Ass kissers that tick all the JW boxes. As long as they look good on the outside, who cares what's on the inside. I'm thinking, "whitewashed graves full of dead mens bones."
"kingdom interests" It's okay for a good JW to go off to college, as long as he is doing it for "kingdom interests." This has actually been said to me. In other words, he or she can go off to college as long as it can benefit WT ($$$$$).

the watchtower's many legal problems and the jws' use of carts in their preaching work, reminded me of a scene and dialog from the film patton.. in a scene where patton is viewing a battle site the morning after, he says to an aide about the nazis: “you know how i know that they're finished out there?

If they get rid of the prohibition on blood, there will also be a mass exit and tons of law suits. WT knows this and this is why those 2 practices are still full on.

Not sure exactly how the "apostate question" is worded (something like...do you believe that WT is god's earthly organization). This article blows holes in that line of questioning and reasoning.

just yesterday, a pimi jw that i've known for years told me that at the end of a wedding they recently attended in pennsylvania, usa, the "brother" that officiated the ceremony concluded by saying to the bride and groom, "you may now embrace the bride.
no kissing.
just a hug.
It just goes to show the control and how WT is in your bedroom and everywhere else in your life. So happy to be free!!!
wonderfully warm interview from "stop the shunning" channel host beth, with ex mormon morgan ( ex morgan).. morgan describes her young life and the process of waking up or, in mormon parlance, her "shelf breaking".
there really are so many things we have in common, from young marriage to feeling personally responsible for saving everyone you have contact with that's not of your religion.

This is a fantastic video! I had to keep reminding myself that she was talking about being a Mormon. The similarities are stunning.
