l just had a discussion with my uber Dub father about the RC in Australia
by joe134cd injust jotting this down while it's fresh in my mind.. joe= apparently they have got issues over in australia at the moment with sex abuse, and this time the government got involved.. dad=yeah they mentioned this at the assembly last weekend.
apparently so they said all religions and organisations are been investigated.
joe= kind of seems funny how the only 2 religious groups been interviewed so far are the catholics and jws.

Royal Commission and blood transfusion refusal for children?
by Marvin Shilmer ini wonder if the royal commission has examined the practice of jws being led to refuse blood transfusion for children when medically necessary to save life or preserve health in relation to the question of child abuse.
i've not heard anything about this brought up.
is the rc concerned solely with life altering abuse only in the form of sexual molestation, or is it looking at how the organization deals with all life altering forms of abuse jw children are exposed to the result of watchtower teaching and society?

I think this is a great point. There is so much wrong with this cult. It's hard to pin point just one thing. I think the more that is pointed out to the RC the better. Send them an email, it will be interesting if they investigate it. The best way to find out the facts is to go to the source. The RC is listening and responding. Let's educate them! You never know where it may go! We truly believe the RC is using info provided by the ones who have been impacted the most. Let's face it, we have ALL been impacted in one way or another.

We haven't been to a meeting or JW event in several years. We have been following the RC closely. It is fascinating! For those still attending, is anyone talking at the meetings, field service car groups or other JW events about what is going on in Australia? Just curious. Is this big to the JW's or are they not aware of the issues? We are in the U.S.

ROYAL COMMISSION: ARE JWS TAUGHT TO REFRAIN FROM SWEARING ON THE BIBLE OR NOT? JW.ORG PLEASE EXPLAIN!
by steve2 induring yesterday's rc proceedings (wednesday 5th august 2015), one of the victim's lawyers questioned mr vincent toole, the jw organization's legal counsel for the australian branch office.
she asked him why at least two of the jw elders who gave evidence last week refused to swear on the bible.
mr toole appear puzzled by her question and said he did not know.

I have worked and associated with women that could run circles (intelligence/financially) around these "men."
This cult treats women as second class citizens. I could tell this pissed the commission off. This cult is not fooling the RC, they see right through it.
