Am I attracted to get-rich-quick schemes?
Do I find it difficult to be generous with my money?
Do I tend to make friends with people who constantly talk about money and the things they own?
Do I resort to lying or to other unethical practices in order to make money?
Does money make me feel important?
Am I always thinking about money?
Is my attitude toward money adversely affecting my health and family life?
Cultivate generosity by giving to others
I put this topic under humor. After the May broadcast...begging for money. This article just takes the cake! Such hypocrites!

not according to the august study wt, on page 20 paragraphs 4-12 it outlines how much paradise will be exactly like being in the org today.
still following rules, waiting on jehovah and obeying those taking the lead.

My prediction is that once everyone realizes that the Paradise is not here and is not coming anytime soon, there will be NEW LIGHT. Paradise will not be literal but figurative. "Brothers and Sisters, we have been enjoying Paradise for years. Not a literal but a figurative one. The elderly sisters are at it again.
by John Aquila inawhile back, about a year and a half ago, when i was starting to wake up, i explained to my mom that when the circuit overseer is in town, they schedule shepherding calls after lunch, not because they care, but because they dont want to work door to door in the hot summer or cold winter.
and they know that a prepared call means some nice hot chocolate and cookies or some ice cold tea and snacks.
i remember her looking at me kind of funny so i ended the conversation and left it at that, and never brought it up again.

Do you think they are starting to add up the #'s for the previous service year? Are the #'s coming in low? They don't like what they see so they are double checking.
When I was attendant at the assemblies, we would count and if they didn't like the #'s they would have the attendants re count. Is this similar?

Has anyone asked older Jdubs how they feel about the GB annointed getting younger?
by sherrie11 ini was married to a 30 year old jw back in the 90's and he claimed to be of the annointed.
he partook at the memorials and all the elders and older jdubs didnt believe him.
they actually gave him a really hard time.
