They have the "staff" read all the letters. The GB are the glorious ones, too good to open their mail. Jah's right hand men! -

Any thought behind your " Avatar"
by The Rebel ini think that's the correct phrase?
anyway when i first came here, that little picture that "the rebel" hides behind, was a self portrait of a very sad man, who simply had too much knowledge.
now i feel after 7 months here, i should repaint that " avetor" give some happiness to the eyes, and a contented smile to the lips.. in short my " avetor" was a self portrait of a man with too much knowledge.

You could take it 2 ways. Dead at Armageddon (bird food according to JW's). Or, toes up at the beach, enjoying life to its fullest.

Watchtower set for its biggest pay day, ever.
by pleaseresearch inif this is true, and we will have to wait and see.
prince could give everything to the watchtower.
so that's his $300 million fortune.

I don't think they will get a dime.
The important thing to us is, they will receive NONE OF OUR MONEY!

A Watchtower double standard: Rejection and the silent treatment.
by ScenicViewer ina recent watchtower study article shows how bad it is to be rejected over religious beliefs when olga revealed that her husband was not speaking to her because she is a jehovah's witness.. 9 in south america, olga proved loyal to god by showing respect for her husband even under trying circumstances.
for years, he expressed annoyance at her for being one of jehovah’s witnesses.
he abused her emotionally, insulted her, refused to speak to her, and threatened to take the children and leave her.

Paragraph 11:
" Later, Alice told members of her family that she would not be celebrating Christmas with them. She explained the reasons, but their mild concern gradually turned into bitter anger. They felt that she was turning her back on her family. Says Alice: “My mother finally said that she disowned me. I was shocked and deeply hurt because I really loved my family. "
So Alice was deeply hurt by her mother disowning her for not celebrating Christmas with the family? She was deeply shocked and hurt? So JW's can do this to those who choose to leave but heaven forbid they do it to you!
The hypocrisy is through the roof!!!

Paragraph 9:
"After many years, his attitude began to soften because of Olga’s patience and respect."
So standing outside of the church during your Father in laws funeral is respectful? Really? Who writes this sh*t?
It's so funny how their experiences all end with a happily ever after theme. Made up stories!

So apparently prince wrote most of the songs in the new song book...
by purrpurr inor so says the jw's around me who heard it from someone who apparently "knows".
i'm no expert in the music of prince so perhaps someone else can tell me, does the songs of the wt sound similar to princes work?.

I've heard the Kingdom Songs. If Prince wrote those types of songs, he would be Broke/Bankrupt and not worth $300 Mil. What a crock!
The JW's are looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Just like Michael Jackson and Princess Diana, once they are gone for a while, everyone forgets about them. Sad but true!

I think the most frustrating thing is, the JW's just can't see what is right in front of them. They are so brainwashed! -

Being Positive around family that are still in.
by freddo inif you are a fader or you have reduced activity markedly - say resigned as a pioneer or an elder or ms or gone inactive and still have some relationship with your immediate family or spouse - how do you stay positive around them when you feel like shaking them out of their stupor but believe deep down it would be counter productive?.
thoughts from all most welcome..

Darkknight said it perfectly.
Sometimes I have to just walk away before I say too much or say anything at all. Like I have said before, saying anything is similar to banging your head on the wall.
We choose to go watch a beautiful sunset or take a walk rather than spending our time trying to reason with unreasonable people. We already wasted enough of our life. We refuse to waste any more.

They put him out to pasture. No longer any use to them. I loved how they used to tell me to reach out for a position (MS) and told me they would like to "use" me. There are several different definitions of the word "use."
