JW's have been doing this since the beginning of time. They do it with every President that is elected. The JW's think that when they get a hang nail, it's the end. Like I posted on another topic. Wash, rinse, repeat. The saddest thing about JW's is that they are waiting to be happy in the new system. They don't realize that they actually can be happy now. We see this in our own families. No kids, no education, no jobs, no homes, no money. "We will be happy in the new system." Sad! Doom and gloomers.

He says "truth is definite and Jehovah conveys the truth to his servants." Then why does it need to change if it is truth and Jehovah gives it to his servants. Makes zero sense.

Oh...another drama on how not to answer the phone when your kid calls/texts. How wonderful! WT is really pounding the shunning. WT (aka Jehovah) must be really worried about JW's talking to their evil family members. Maybe they are worried about if they speak to them, maybe they will learn something WT doesn't want others to know. Like TTATT. There must be a BIG problem with people leaving. If it wasn't a big problem, WT would not keep addressing it.

I have made this statement to my spouse before. It is amazing to watch these people drool all over the GB and the WT. I believe if they poured the kool aid many in our family would drink it with a smile. Sad!

she had enough money to build a nice home but she went over budget and the house remains unfinished.
this past year another jw lost his wife... but there is a happy ending!

We have noticed this also with our family. They just keep parroting, "obedience to Jehovah."
At least you have been honest with your families. I admire that. It will be interesting to see how they all treat you and your wife in the near future. I am sure you are prepared for whatever they have to dish our.

Newly out, am I shunning them before they shun me?

the fact now is that talking about this religion with someone who believes it makes me sort of angry.

We did the same thing. We call it reverse shunning. Trust me...they will forget you. They forgot us when they couldn't get juicy details. We went stone cold quiet. Sad but true! We owe them NOTHING.

Could this be the reason for one day assemblies
by Sour Grapes inlast saturday i sat through the one day assembly and i waited for the anticipated accounts report.
for one day the costs were $10,000.
even my wife questioned why the costs are so high and why don't they give a break down on the costs?
