My mom contacted me last night...

as i have revealed in other threads my mother and i havent talked in over 2 years.

she has been keeping her distance, therefore staying loyal to jehovah.

she found me on facebook.

We have still in family members that are having financial, marital and emotional problems. The Uber dub side of the family keeps telling them to do more. More meetings, more service, more study and things will get better. The "weaker" side of the family is trying to do more and guess what? They still have financial , marital and emotional problems. Jah doesn't seem to be fixing their problems . So they keep visiting the doctors and switching out their anti depressants. Frustrating as hell for us on the other side (you know....the dark side). lol

November Broadcast - truly evil

hi there i don't watch much of the propaganda on jw.org anymore but i did catch the november broadcast.. i think these guys are either evil or controlled by someone who is incredibly skilled at mind control.. firstly, they establish their authority by saying "everything" else is a lie - you can't trust media or anyone.

"there is no inspiration today.." but they somehow have the direct connection with god - yuck.. then, they proceed with that disgusting "shunning" drama - but now it is not called shunning, (around 24 mins) the mother said... "if we were to stand between levi and the discipline he needs we would in affect be blocking an expression of jehovah's love from reaching him...".

i am so angry at this, what a load.

The shunning of one's children is truly evil but WT is showing it's true colors. WT is an abusive cult. It is having a direct affect. WT is having money troubles because of this abuse. The cracks are starting to show. That's a good thing. I love watching abusive people suffer. It's just sad to see so many brainwashed loved ones fall for it.

in an earlier reddit post we discussed the possible role that watchtower business associate and trump son-in-law may play in a trump white house; and if that meant that wt may have a friend with the president-elect's ear.. now, thanks to a tip from /u/jpentrak, i've been alerted to the fact that watchtower has removed the video news update: jehovah’s witnesses moving forward.

this video featured jared kushner speaking in glowing terms about wt personnel and how well maintained the buildings were by the organisation.. despite claims in this same video that "we're not trapped in time" by watchtower spokesman david a. semonian, clearly they don't know that the internet never forgets.. here is the url of the removed page:.

The video is all about Watchtower. Maybe now that Trump is in, this interview could "bring reproach upon Jehovah." That is there excuse for everything. I'm thinking it would bring tons of criticism for all the evil apostates, now that Trump is President elect.

Great post baker. Why is Watchtower so worried about those who leave? Shouldn't there teachings speak for itself? If you had the best product on the market, you would not have to worry about those who may not like the product. The amount of people who buy and use the product would morph the ones who diss it. What is WT worried about? That you will find the truths about them. The only way they can protect themselves is to continue to use the shunning policy. Emotional blackmail to get you friends and loved ones back. Pitiful and abusive!

A believer. You are right there is no changing people's minds. We have all been abused and who knows you may be back one day when you too have had enough abuse. So many sad stories of ruined lives on this forum. Sign off ....JW is where you belong. Good luck!

The one oclock meeting

i go to a hall (very rarely) with a single cong of about 60 people in a small city of maybe 10000. our board of elders is a bunch of childless weirdos or at least the ones that make an effort.. they recently changed the sunday meeting time from 10/12 to 1/ 3. a number of us are pissed off.

its makes to hard to drive to the city or go to a football game.. i just know the gestopo elders behind the change.

if your life isnt as miserable or pointless as theirs, they arent doing their job.

My oldest friend, Quincy Roberts, Ex-JW died last night at age 66

the first time i walked into a kingdom hall, i was about 15 years old.

i shook hands with a 12-year-old named quincy.

as time passed and we grew older, quincy hung out with us older j-dubs.

well today was the big day.

we finally let the cat out of the bag to the in-laws about watchtower.

previously there were unknown rumors being spread about me and today i found out why the wife and i are being shunned.

It's funny how they think if you go to the memorial or assembly some magical "return to Jah" power will come over you and make you want to return. Funny!

Dubs put the cult over family. My spouse and I now realize that. As disturbing as that is....good riddance to em. Better off without them. Their lose. Sad but true.

Believer....Watchtower got caught with their pants down with the generation teaching. They HAD to change it when all the ones of that generation started dying. This was a MAJOR teaching and a MAJOR change. The light getting brighter is a JW way of saying....oops we screwed up. My spouse and I were born into this religion (we are not young either). The best advice we can give you is....RUN LIKE HELL. We did and thank goodness we did. Our life should be miserable, it's not. Happier than ever. I mean it...RUN AND RUN FAST!
