Yes, you are right there. Kids are watching it. WT doesn't seem to care if they scare kids or talk about sexual things, while in the presence of children.
Fear is a manipulative tool. My spouse and I are ones who are not easily impressed by those who NEED to impress or are we easily swayed by others. I guess that is why we are OUT!! lol
WT is sick and they don't seem to care how they come across. Maybe that is why they are heading to the courtroom so much.

WT has always used fear but seems to be ramping it up in their videos. They have always had the scary pictures in their publications but the use of videos can really get the emotions stirred up.
This will work FANTASTIC on our current JW families. They all have been so sheltered from "the world", they can't see straight. Some have had no children or ever married. Some have been home schooled, been Bethelites or Pioneers. Some have never had a 8 to 5 job in a corporate environment. They have been self employed and very sheltered. "The world" is a scary place for them!!! When we talk with them it's, "satan this and satan that."
The scary horns, evil eyes and sharp teeth of the beasts will keep our families "in line". lol
It works on most of the JW's and that is why WT continues to use it.

I wasn't an Elder but I am one of those "sisters." lol I used to dial in and listen to the sisters talk the night before and copy it. It was a great way to write a difficult talk that you didn't want to do. I would give the talk and leave right after I gave it. Kids have homework and Mama's got a bottle of wine with her name on it at home. lol
Funny how now that I am no longer a JW, I very rarely drink anymore!! Wonder why!!!

We used to have a "Brother" in our hall that used to give these "scary" talks. We used to laugh at him and call him "Brother doom and gloom." This was BEFORE we left. He was and is still a strange man. Interestingly, he CAN'T function outside of WT.

since i woke up and left i've been contacted by others i knew from my youth who've also left the cult.
also people around the world on facebook adding me out of the blue because we have mutual friends and they occasionally ask me stuff or share their story.. what i've noticed in the vast majority of cases, is that people are waking up not because of the arc or doctrine but apathy.
active jws are becoming less and less interested, less and less bothered.

The above statement really had an affect on him. The cold and callous "Brother" Morris is one sick man. His statements and complete lack of love will continue to wake up many JW's. As well as his un Christlike attitude. Keep up the good work GB, you're digging your very own grave!!! Maybe one day Anthony will have to answer to his "Big Brother."
