Their thoughts: "You CAN NOT possibly be happy without being Jehovah's earthly organization. We have been told that NO ONE can possibly have a happy life." When you have had this crap drilled into your brain all of your life, how can you possibly understand.

Ewart Chitty
by NoAbuse inewart chitty was appointed as secretary-treasurer , which position he held until his appointment to the governing body in november 1974.. when in brooklyn, chitty seems to have preferred younger men as roommates.
the actual charge brought to the gb against chitty was made by a former roommate and involved some sort of inappropriate conduct.
the gb concluded that chitty had homosexual tendencies, and asked him to resign.. a rare photo of chitty in happier days.

Huge JW storyline (blood) on Chicago Med (US TV Show)
by tresdecu inanyone else watch chicago med last night??
one of the writers had a bone to pick...made the dubs look like a cult.
(not hard to do, i know) very realistic, and they got all the lingo right.

Watched it. It was spot on. Whoever advised them on the JW's were spot on.
The kicker was, when the Dr. revealed the tattoo on the boy, the Father and Mother walked out the door. They left their kid!! True 100% Watchtower behavior.

If I was still PIMI, I'd be terrified
by neat blue dog injust looking at the pictures in tomorrow's wt study makes me think of the nightmares i used to have as a child.
and nowadays the pictures are sometimes more realistic, so for any who are truly mentally in, this has a terrible effect on them and even their life choices.
looking in as a pimo or pomo it seems almost comical that adults would believe in this sci-fi bible fan-fiction, but it's not funny when we remember that all ages of the r&f are being manipulated by the gb by these cheap and evil means.. .

Yeah, like the "authorities" are really worried about Watchtower! Most people only know JW's as the pesky pain in the butts that knock at your door at 10 am on Saturday morning.

Watchtower continues to do this because it works. You should see how paranoid our uber families are. Satan this, Satan that. They are afraid of their own shadows. It is pathetic!
Some have become VERY reclusive. They don't go out much, they are suspicious of everyone who is not a JW and they are having a hard time making ends meet financially. It is sad to watch.
It amazes me to watch our children function in the real world. They have made friends, received training and higher education and are hard workers. Not sitting around waiting for this wicked system to pass away. They are dealing with the here and now and doing it very well. It's just interesting to watch the paranoid JW's and then compare them with our children.

We don't even recognize the religion (cult) that we were raised in! Just left 6 plus years ago!

California Fires-Contact from elders
by SouthCentral inthe fires have been hitting many areas of los angeles lately.
recently, i checked my home voicemail and noticed messages from several elders.
they were calling everyone on their “books” to ensure that they were ok.. i assume this is the protocol for a natural disaster.

“If you don’t return our call, will have to stop by!”
My response would be...." you can stop by but it doesn't mean that I am going to answer the door."
The main intention of any uber dub JW is to re engage you. Get you "back on track or back on board the JW train."
NOT GONNA HAPPEN NO MATTER HOW MUCH "LOVE" YOU SHOW ME!!! Life is just way to short to let this group back into my life. Enjoying life way too much to let the drones in again.

Even mental health experts call shunning a bullying and psychological torture. It is a sick tactic to bully you back into the cult. This is being sanctioned by the leaders of this cult. The rank and file are jumping on board with this disturbing tactic. No matter how strong you are, it affects you deeply. Especially when it comes down to the people we love the most, family.
I knew the shunning was going to happen to but it messes with your head. Watchtower knows this. The shunning has actually angered us to the point that we are going to let the still in family members know that this tactic WILL NOT "bring us back to Jehovah" but will do the opposite.
I'm sorry that your BIL is experiencing this. I do believe that the shunning will be Watchtower's next problem. It is what JW's call the "message of judgement." SCREW YOU WATCHTOWER!!!
