In your bedroom as a child. Divination is a mystical technique and illustrates the roles of ancestors and divination as mechanism of social controls by government. Many, but certainly not all, non-Western societies believe ancestors play a strong and positive role in the security and prosperity of their people. It is important, however, to recognize that ancestors are but one of several categories of spirits whose actions directly affect society. Ancestor spirits, the "living dead," are those whose memory still exists in the minds of their kin, and who are beneficial to the surviving relatives. When the living dead are forgotten, they are believed to be transformed into "nameless spirits," non-ancestors, characterized as malicious vehicles for misfortunes of all kinds. "Ancestor spirits" or "ghosts," who can be invoked by the living and cause misfortune to befall those whose acts threaten the solidarity of the wealthy, are used by many governments and religious leaders. The ancestral world in many ways is an extension of the real world. Although one can argue to a point with an elder, no one questions the wisdom and authority of an ancestor. The power of the dead is an important aspect of social and religious control. Because ghosts are capable of severely punishing an earthly mortal desirous of change, the force of conformity is strong and according to religious leaders and governments dead ancestors do not smile favorably on any kind of change. Not all societies believe in the power of ancestors or ghosts. In many cultures, including North America, a high god (monotheism) or gods (polytheism) exert authority over the living, punishing those who violate religious leaders rules that often are duplicated in civil laws and serve as the base of social oppression. In these groups ancestor worship is not found, although the spiritual nature of ancestors and a belief in the afterlife is very severe and strict. Very few peoples do not support the idea of a separate spirit world. To most people in Western culture the word "ghost" brings forth an image of a disembodied spirit of a dead person swooping through the dark halls, hovering over a grave, roaming aimlessly through damp woods, or in phantom form. Religious leaders and government use this because no one wants to be subjected to supernatural punishment by vengeful and angry ghosts who do not like changes in society.

The non-rationality of a myth is its very essence, for religion requires a demonstration of total faith by the suspension of logic or critical doubt. All stories which occur in the Bible are truths for the devout Christian, whether they correspond to historical fact or not. All human societies have myths in this sence, and normally the myths to which the greatest importance is attached are those which are the least probable. It is common for all religious systems to make sure all important stories recur in several different versions. Man is created in Genesis 1 verse 27 and then is created all over again in 2 verse 7. And, as if the two first men were not enough, we also have Noah in chapter 8. "Only a couple thousand years later." Likewise in the New Testament, why must there be four gospels each telling the same story yet sometimes totally contradictory on details and facts? In the technical sence that religious leaders are taught, it is a measure of freedom of choice in selecting a message that fits their stories. In the mind of the believer, these stories do indeed convey messages which are the Word of God. To such a human the redundancy of the story is a very reassuring fact. Even if the message is badly snarled up with interference and contradictions, the most confident devotee might feel a little uncertain as to what precisely is being said. But, as a result of redundancy, the believer can feel that, even when the details vary, each alternative version of a story confirms his understanding and reinforces the essential meaning of all the others. To explain what is surely the most striking of all phenomena, and the passionate adherence to delusional sectarian belief is to understand this paradox. The whole of Christendom shares a single corpus of mythology stories, so it is surely remarkable that the members of each particular Christian congragation are able to convince themselves that they alone possess the secret of revealed truth. But if the true believer can interpret his own mythology in almost any way he chooses, what principle governs the formation of the original story? It is only by chance that a story assumes one pattern rather than another. In every religious system you will find a persistent sequence of binary discriminations as between human / superhuman, mortal / immortal, male / female, legitimate / illegitimate, good / bad, followed by a "mediation" of the paired categories. "Mediation" is always achived by introducing a third category which is "anomalous." Thus religious stories are full of fabulous monsters, incarnate gods, virgin mothers. This middle ground is abnormal, non-natural, and yet to the believers it is holy. It is typically the focus of all taboo and ritual observance that some things are just not talked about. In these repetitive and inverted tales it asserts the over riding virtue of close kin endogamy. That the sacred hero ancestor Abraham can carry this so far that he marries his paternal half sister, an incestuous relationship. That a rank and order is established which places degrees of inferior status depending upon the nature of the defect in their original ancestry as compared with the pure descent of those of clean bone.(Israel) Abraham's incest goes unnoticed in the context of such outrageous characters as Ham, and Lot's daughters, and the men of Sodom. Just as Adam and Eve are virtuous as compared to Cain and Abel. The Bible is full of incest and breaches of sexual morality, but because of the status of being of "clean bone" thus likened to the Pharaohs." (wealthy men) The laws of God only pertain to the lower status. Isaac marries a kinswoman in preference to a Canaanite woman. Esau's marriage to a Hittite woman is marked as sin. Jacob marries two daughters of his mother's brother, who is, in turn, Jacob's father's father's brother's son's son. There are other stories, Hagar, Sarah's slave, bears a son Ishmael to Abraham, whose desendants are of low status. It seems evident that much the same paterns exist throughout the whole Bible message, and all religions of this world hold the same racial status, and that these sexual morality laws, and all laws, only pertain to lower classes and those likened to Pharaoh are above the law and this book called the Word of God.

If pre-literate students and their teachers are ignorant of the procedures and philosophies underlying the supernatural, so to are those trained in the supernatural ignorant of witchcraft and its effects. Demons, spirits, ancestors, and gods all exist as realities in the human mind, and possess the power to harm and harass the living. Good and evil are counter balanced in every society through a variety of rituals and other forms of protection; yet this balance is broken by human weaknesses and transgressions that invite the evil nature of supernatural agents created by their minds. The malicious acts of those agents inflict pain and anguish on the innocent as well as on those deserving of punishment. Although all supernaturals created by your mind can possess an individual and cause an unending variety of harm, the most commonly known agent of possession is the demon. Demons may aid their human consorts from time to time, but generally they are seen as being responsible for diseases, injury, or a myriad of major and minor personal and group disasters. These creations of your mind are more powerful then mere humans. Creation of demons is ordinarily considered dangerous, but this is not always the case. Demon creation is actively sought at Voodoo ceremonies in order to obtain the supernatural knowledge of the spirits. The functions of creation commonly go unnoticed overshadowed as they are by the dramatic expressive actions of the one chosen to be possessed and those in attendance. Rules to avoid demons, such as jinns of Islamic countries, can promote individual self discipline and propriety in behavior. Until the recent popularity of movies, television shows, and novels about demons, the American public was largely unaware of the taboo of demons throughout the history of Western religions. Somewhat alarming to many Americans was the realization that the Catholic church continued to approve exorcisms of demons and kept these matters on a need to know basis. Religion is a belief in an unseen order and one important aspect of religion is helping believers to come to know that unknown. To this day the methods of religious leaders in the world's cultures are far too varied and numerous to mention here. They all wish to keep you in the dark with faith playing a strong role in these religious leaders explanations. The Jehovah Witnesses from records in history were created by a man who was put into a mental hospital declairing himself to be an angel from the book of revelation, Apollyon or in Hebrew Abaddon. It seems, for the love of money, even Jehovah Witnesses become traders of their souls for money.

Variations of the evil eye belief are known throughout much of the world, yet little attention has been given to explaining the dynamics of power. Western Christian religion involving the Almighty God, the Devil, and the saints and angels in Heaven, seem to avoid the basis facts of these powers and declare themselves and their ancestry are of "clean bone," unblemished by social stigma, that they are a "noble people." In contrast to much of the mythology about the evil eye power, it is not really attributed to a person occupying a status of social economic disadvantage. Rather, those people who are believed to have the dangerous power are "chosen children." The real threat of the evil eye is the ever-present possibility of attack. Some people are fearful of even mentioning the evil eye, especially at night, because if they are overheard by the spirit of the evil eye it will become angry and one of the family members may be "eaten," thereby causing sickness or death. A person who is self-righteous are most vulnerable to being "eaten" and the spirit of the evil eye sees fear, worry, or anxiety as potential victims. Therefore, it helps to maintain one's composure when in the presence of the economically disadvantaged, acting naturally as if the disadvantage did not matter at all. Anyone who declares themselves especially good looking or whose child is worshiped as beautiful, or anyone who feels they are extraordinary, should fear the attack of the spirit of the evil eye because of the envy in the economically disadvantaged.
The process of attack may occur in one of several different manners. Because of the power of the spirit of the evil eye, economically disadvantaged people can call upon the beasts of prey that roam the countryside at night. It is convenient for the disadvantaged to attack a victim in this form in order to conceal his human identity. The spirit of the evil eye controls both the natural and the supernatural forms of animals. So, being in a big city is not going to protect you from the spirit of the evil eye. The people most liable to attack are those who have a bit more wealth than the average, and who are proud of their spoiled children. There are stories that the economically disadvantaged have this additional power gained from the association with the Devil and that creates an illegitimate advantage over those of higher status; but those stories are written by those of higher status. Although their existence is associated with the Devil, their power comes from a different source only questionably related to the Devil, they have what is known as a balance of power, both good and evil. Although there are several versions of a myth, the leaf from an IS plant was used by the Devil to make himself invisible so as to avoid being eaten by the beast sent out by the spirit of the evil eye. The concept of the evil eye is reported throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, and in so many cultures elsewhere that it may be regarded as a universal phenomenon. -

It is a continuous wonder of mankind how such tiny little creatures could produce so much disease in the hosts of their attacks. The tribes differ in their capacity to produce disease, as do humans differ in their relative resistance to attacks by the tribes. Humans know all to little about how to influence the body's resistance to tribal attacks except that cleanliness, good nutrition, and hygiene play a large role in keeping resistance up and minimizing the tribesmens anger. The diversity in size and shape is seen in their vessels of flight, similular to our flying machines, the tribes tend to form comma-shaped structures and others form spirals. Some of the spiral ships are loosely formed, much like a snake would look while lying in the grass, while others are tightly coiled almost like a spring. In addition, different tribes use different types of materials in the environment that can change some of the chemicals around them in defence of our biological war against them. Just as with other living things, the tribes can be put into broad classifications. To be a healer of diseases you need to make peace with these tribal leaders, who transmit and receive electrons to the impulse carried by the vectorial boson. "Telepathy;" but you have to have a brain to do that, and as you can see mankind has surely lost his mind.

Religion is multivocal term whose range of meaning varies in different social and historical contexts. Most definitions of religion refer to the recognition of a transhuman controlling power that may be either personal or impersonal. When I speak of religion power that is personalized, it is in the form of deity, gods, spirits, daemons, genii, ancestral shades, ghosts, or in the likeness of these things. When I speak of impersonal transhuman power it is to be considered a devolution of personal power, as in the case of the mystical efficacy of rites established in illo tempore by a deity or ancestral shade. Since a priest is know more then an actor in a culturally scripted play, it is rarely that priests become anything but puppets to social governments. If they do assume this role it is mainly as legislative reformers of the masses. If a priest becomes a radical he will be labeled a heretic by his former superiors. To the priesthood the office, role, and script are what is sacred, not the truth. Sometimes a priest that becomes radical is called a prophet by his followers because he is "charismatic," and then he sets himself up like a god on the poor mans money. Purely the individual who is a bearer of charisma, is not a prophet. A prophet is the bearer of fear, and broadly held to designate extraordinary powers. He will produce discontinuity in that cultic enterprise which it is the priest's major role to keep in operation. A prophet is the primary decision point either to establish order or change it drastically. He makes a preliminary distinction between total destruction or passive destruction with the capacity to achieve the ecstatic states which are viewed, in accordance with primitive experience, as the preconditions for producing certain effects in meteorology, to move a mountain, to call upon the winds and rain, through a personal communication from a supernatural being. The prophet is not a bearer of charisma and that charisma is artificially produced by self proclaiming priests. Make sure you know who you "call upon," or you may just see "the prophetic break" of the spirit that has no name.

Sociologists have written on the general evolution of human society have all stressed that this development, associated with the more complex technology, is marked by an increasing obsolescence of ritual and its replacement by what have been called universal religions, such as Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism, which any person can join as a convert, and in which any adherent can join any congregation assembled to socialize. Society rituals are constituted to specific social relationships according to domestic, kinship, sexual, local, or political affiliations of the members of these cults. Only persons occupying specific positions in those relationships can participate, and they do so in terms of the specific ways as pastors, preachers, holy men of their cults. In their rituals, apart from using special symbols in the form of things, words, or actions, they act their specific roles. In their secular life, either directly, or sometimes invertedly as in transvestism, (by women dressing as men and men dressing as women) the symbolic representation of those relationships are hidden and the persons involved in those relationships are blessed, protected, strengthened, to make fruitful the the otherwise successful converts. Analysis has shown that in some of the rituals the enactment of secular sexual relationships involves a statement, in an exaggerated form, not only of the harmonious and unifying aspects of the relationship, but also of the conflicts which reside in them. Foregiveness, is one of the main means by which emotion is aroused, which is then fixed on socially approved values; out of the very conflicts which exist in normal life the value of an ideal of life without conflicts is emotionally and intellectually established by these religious leaders. "God save the Queen" is marked by a high ritualism, symbolic itself, drawing on the same complex of emotions of these universal religions, but not involving the enacting of everyday roles of mankinds needs.

Spending money trying to rescue oneself from evil is not something I personally do. To consider a person a fool who fails to acquire charms that would protect against evil persons filled with envy is a form of witchcraft, and they strongly believe in protection against evil and other malign contingencies of fate. I too believe in protection, I just do not use charms, amulets, solutions applied internally and/or externally, or those magical devices planted within the home or yard. Others, like Christians believe strongly in these practices of witchcraft. The charms from their spiritual leaders consist mainly of the cross on which Jesus was crucified, blessed handkerchiefs, and gravel that David used in killing Goliath. Amulets are carried about on the person of the believer; they may be hung around the neck, tied on the wrist, placed on the finger, or even tied around the waist. Indeed, these charms are a big industry for those religious leaders, needless to say, people believe them to be efficacious. Christians, write potent verses of the Bible, particularly psalms, along with names of certain angels, spirits and saints, on virgin paper for spells and amulets. A list of potent verses in the Bible can be purchased in their monthly magazine called Faith, and these verses are to be used each day. Some Christians are told to write these verses on paper and carry them about as protection against evildoers. The virgin paper is said to be made out of certain sacred animals skins, like sheep. Muslims do the same thing as Christians only they write potent verses of the Koran, for spells and amulets. Medicines are buried in bottles or pots with the necks protruding just above the ground. Others are hung on the ceiling of houses or on doors. A very famous type of medicine for good luck among the Christians is the horseshoe above the door, then their is the wreath on the door which is strait from the books of witchcraft. Evil can befall a person as a result of fate, filial disobedience, or the violation of the taboo of nature. As explanations for misfortunes Christians make claims that witchcraft is the cause of the misfortune. Thus witchcraft becomes the scapegoat of every misfortune. Finally, witchcraft belief provides a theory of causation as far as misfortune, death, and illness is concerned. Christians blame everybody but themselves because they are of "clean bone." Witchcraft consists of a set of moral judgments, and it helps to reinforce ideas of what is good and what is bad or evil. Christians the last I heard were forgiving the homo-sexual and ordaining child molesting priests; that they were jealous of the witches again; Christians have no spiritual power because it was taken away; and they may try to hurt the witches again, and make new sanctions against witchcraft to help maintain their evil social order. The last conservative Christian I talked to said Witches and witchcraft was the blame for everything evil and they should be burned. The racism teachings of the self righteous Christians is without logic and they don't have any brain cells left. We are dealing with a nation of Zombies who can not think for themselves.
