  it's been almost a decade since i've been out and i don't care at this point who knows.

  that being said, here's a letter that i'm mailing to bethel.

  Why is Mother's Day wrong?

  so why is celebrating mother's day wrong according to witnesses?.

  is it not an opportunity to show respect to the giver of life (mother) and therefore god, the originator of families?.

  does it not give an opportunity for members of the family to give a hard working mother a day off?

  My spouse was saying how stupid it was that people are made to celebrate mother's day and that there shouldn't just be one special day for showing love yada yada yada. So I stopped her and said, "isn't it better than nothing?"

  That quickly put a stop to her JW tirade at least momentarily and seconds later she just scoffed and said the same thing.

  Sometimes common sense is no match for the deep JW indoctrination.

  if you have the jw app running on your tablet, watch the latest (may) governing broadcast and hear tony the jackass, and when you get to 7 minutes and 44 seconds ...hit the pause button.. read the words at the bottom of the screen as per the jw app close captioning.. "well beyond the intent of the scriptures" .

  he is describing the governing body past, like the ghost of christmas past.

  yes, the governing body past were a bunch of freaking yahoo's violating 1 cor.

  What would happen if...

  in an effort to excuse yourself from elder persecution, you present an argument.

  whether at a jc or just in an average elder shepherding call.

  most people who have confronted a jc, have tried to explain to the elders about what they know of the org but the incriminating questions always come up.. when confronted with the question, do you still believe the gb is the f&ds?

  If given no choice but to defend my position, I would open up on them full throttle. Of course I would be prepared, but I would lay out my case point by point in a systematic manner and ask that if they disagree with what I've presented they need to disprove it. Either way I would not give them the satisfaction to talk down to me but rather to speak up on clear irrefutable facts. That's how I would go out. Guns blazing, period.

  “Even if this wasn’t the Truth, I need the structure.”

  i remember many years back a fellow ministerial servant saying this to me.

  he felt that even if jehovah’s witnesses were not the only true religion, the regimented routine of meetings and field service and the strict rules and enforcement provided a beneficial structure for his life.

  at the time i thought if this wasn’t “the truth”, i’d have no need for all that “structure”.

  gerrit losch giving a talk in so-called spanish in the dominican republic.

  first begging for donations ...and than this.

  brothers and sisters travelling hours and hours to hear this reading, he obviously doesnt speak spanish, just knows how to read it.

  Prince did not die. He faked his own death so he could be the 8th man on the GB.

  Today the two elders did not appear to declare at prosecutor's citation

  today the two elders who stalked my sister were absent at the prosecutor's citation.

  they were waited for 1 hour, but they did not come.

  this attitude favors their culpability.

  Oh yeah. I've actually jolted away from farting so hard. One time I farted so hard the pressure actually lifted me and moved me.

  I've also farted and sneezed at the same time.

  One time I sneezed so hard I actually sprained my neck.

  Oh man, I've experienced a bunch of shenanigans.
