  Way to go, girl. Kudos to you and your partner, Darryl.

  You surely put them in their places. As for the Speakerphone Voice, that's something I cannot imagine that they do: Hiding behind some wall anonymously to answer your questions, speaking of being cowardly when facing somebody who's not a JW.

  You and Darryl were straight to the point. They were surely trying to evade you.

  My story...well part of it anyway

  it has occurred to me that ive been here long enough and have met many of you whose company i really appreciate.

  i see people come in since i have been here and am inspired and impressed at the courage they have for giving their stories, their experiences and the freedoms they now have paid for by a cost that only a cult survivor can really appreciate.. so with that inspiration, here is my story.... i have very little memory of before i was 5. i do remember christmas morning one year to wake up to a ton of toys and that was cool.

  i remember having my stomach pumped once because i got into some kerosene and thought id pour myself a glass.

  No, YoYo. That is not a dumb question.

  The obvious answer will be no.

  People of other beliefs will not be qualified for a good job or benefits why? because they are considered bad associations.
  Why they cannot get good job? Because to have a business in such society, you need to be in good standing with the government. If a government has JW ideology and that business does not, then the business is not in good standing.

  Also, people of other beliefs WILL be segregated and discriminated only because they don't agree with JW doctrine. These same people will be incarcerated if they celebrate a holiday as all the doctrines are laws.

  Are we clear on it so far?

  It is not such a stupid question, heh?

  If it is a stupid question, then can you answer it?

  I got a question for you, YoYo:

  If we live in a state, country, nation or society that is ruled by the JWs, are people from other beliefs going to have their freedom or will they be beat up, persecuted, segregated, discriminated or worse, killed because they won't agree with JW doctrine?

  MY MUMS IS DIEING O F CANCER?

  my mums in hospital in nottingham england she is a current jw and has stomach cancer.she is a lovley mum but has been brain washed not to have the blood so they left the opp to build her up.

  because she would need blood during the opp if she is weak she will die on the opp table.but she has got worse and weaker so now am losing my mum through waiting.she would have had a chance.

  but now it looks like she has 2 weeks of life left.why???

  please,there are still x-dubs posting on this board that think they are free from the watchtower.

  they say things like, "well it may not be the perfect truth, but they, (the wt) still teach good morals" etc.. remember we are talking about brainwashing here, & its a very tricky & insidious practice!.

  i have devised a simple test.

  Please keep in mind that a lot of xJWs were born and raised in it. When someone is being taught, trained and educated in a certain mindset for a long time, they still have that mindset even unwillingly.

  My answer to your test are:
  1. Yes, reason: every group has some good principles about living. I gotta admit that the JWs has good principles in theory. However, I cannot say the same about the practice. In theory and principle, the good thing that is being taught is to love God, but in practice, it is otherwise. So, I do think that the only good thing is in principle.

  2. No reason: any group that has double standards, favoritism and goes against its own principles is very hypocritical. All the control and freedom restriction is just downright evil.

  3. No, same as reason #2.

  4. No, reason: I was never a JW.

  5. No, reason: there are answers you just cannot answer now, but you have to search it on your own.

  6. No, reason: It is a very good test. It makes you think.

  Yo Yo,

  I may add that I do wear a pin of the U.S. flag as solidarity with the victims of 9/11 and their family.

  Also, keep in mind who fights for our freedom and the freedoms of your brethren here in America and at Bethel in Brooklyn. You know who does that?
