who viciously attack the teachings and beliefs of their resigned religion?.
i was thinking of this last night....i have never in my life seen a movement so big as the apostates against jw's..... no other religion has displayed this....usually people just quietly leave and get on with their lives and there is no anomosity...even if they have been wronged by their religion.... but with jw's it's different...it's an all out and out attack on anyone and everyone who has something positive to say.... makes me believe the bible and the jw's even more...being here is setting the doubt in my mind right....

Two very good friends of mine (they are a couple) were long time members of it. I talked to the wife and she could relate her experiences with what you all experienced with the JWs.
Last I heard, they were becoming more MainStream, but my friends said that they will never go back to them after being burned badly.

i was attacked here when i first admitted that i was studying with the jw's.
i also noted that blessed_something or other (sorry, bad memory) was attacked also....just because we say something positive about the jw's!
i think that is mighty unfair and defeats the purpose of you trying to turn us against the jw's.

The same applies to JWs. I know because I dealt with some and I was never a JW.
Violet, a lot of JWs (especially the hardcore) come here starting with a flame. If you ask nicely instead of flaming, you can get a nice response.

even the medievil catholics had 'apostates' in the form of 'heretics'....
Violet, a lot of these 'heretics' in the Catholic countries were tortured and executed or fled. So, they didn't exactly say a word against the religion. Only, the protestant movement with the support of a government (England and the German States) could say anything and get away.

i decided not to join the witness 3 months ago(for personal reasons) i dont want to join no organization, not either churchs,.
i feel alot better to preach the truth and live by the laws & commandments and survive this last century(last days) by myself, along with my girlfriend... .
i love the witness, they are the only ones, who tell billions the truth.. 40% of my bible(kingjamesversion) information, i got from the witness, the rest i learn by myself, thanks to jehovah(yahweh) & the wonderful armageddon messiah(king jesus)...but i feel kinda alone on the internet going around helping and preaching jehovah'god & jesus word, because as it is written, in the last century, millions will turn away from the truth- 2 timothy chapter 4 verse 2 .
One Important thing that I plan on doing Is, Helping people that are in need of Help.. Prostitutes are my first goal.. I love women, and I plan on helping Women who carry their/lifestyle ungodly...
Welcome U.2.K, From what you said above, why don't you start with the women in you congregation. While they are not prostitutes per se, they do tend to carry that lifestyle as they go for the brothers with the higher positions, power and money. Remember to tell them, "the love of money is the root of all evil" and that's in the KJV bible.
They also do not understand that, This life that We are living in, Is not the Life that Jehovah has plan from the beginning...If this life that we are living is not what God planned for, why didn't he destroyed us long time ago when he flooded the Earth? I tell you why? Because God is love and light and he has compassion; in light, there's no darkness; death, destruction and hatred are part of darkness. Therefore, God cannot kill and destroy.
I love the Witness, They are the only ones, Who Tell Billions the truth...Truth like what? Like when you guys said that 1975 was the year of the End of the World? Like JesusChrist is not our mediator and savior when the bible does say he is? Like the organization has new light of truth everytime it changes doctrines (remember the truth never changes)?
it has been said that the jws hold to many beliefs that are unnsupported scripturally and inforce many 'unwritten' rules which they refer to as 'principles'.. i would like to start off the thread with what i think is the most important unbiblical teaching that they need to promote inorder to exist.. the watchtower teaches that "a prophet is able to make mistakes while he is speaking for god and still be considered as true.
mind you that these are not slips of the tounge but doctrines and predictions that have been promoted for years and have only been modified only after the watchtower had no choice but to change them.. this in my opinion is the most unscriptural teaching that the watchtower promotes.
if it werent for this teaching then the watchtower would most definately have to be marked as a false prophet!

I am sorry about what happened and how it affected your brother's life and the lives of his daughters.
Now I can add one more reason why I will never become a JW (I was never one).

i am an active jehovah witness, but i am very lonely so i am looking for others with the "hope" or to speak to those that know someone that does.
it has been a long , hard road for me.
The Governing Body has to guide 7 million people, and we all have to preach to 6 billion and that is hard work.
Yep, it is hard work and not all the 6 billion people will accept WTS doctrines. I know I won't accept WTS doctrines because they're so full of it.
Also, since you are in this forum and from the sound of you, you have doubts about the Borg.
So, have fun preaching to people in something that you have doubts.
if only hitler the product of an incestious marriage(father/mother were uncle/niece)had become a jw,there would have been no ww11 and no palestian crisis!.

WWII may or may not happen as Hitler is not the only one who promoted fascism (See Mussolini in Italy).
