Linux is Ok. There are allot of things you might miss with windows... Linux is getting better every day, but there are still overwhelming problems that users still face such as shell commands. It's something you have to learn and know well in order to install most open source software... also you do loose allot of good programs when you move to linux. You can operate stuff like Photoshop in a modified version of wine (Crossover office) but it's as slow as all get out. I personly don't like Mandrake, it's very bloated... I'm a fan of SuSE though... once I tried SuSE I vowed never to go back to Mandrake, Lycoris, Red Hat or any of those other ones. Yast makes it easier to install things and it's connected to a bigger source of working RPMs than Mandrake I believe.

jgnat: Thanks, I need to post more of my works up on Deviant art, I recently registed there because it's a easy venue for a place to host big images. I've been creating since 99', I've won a few little web based awards for one I did called "Moige" or "Youth". It's been fun, digital manpiulation can be really detailed and fun to do, and then again it can be frustrating too.

Oh yeah, I like your online gallery... very nice. I wish I could draw or paint.

so ladies,,,,speaking of sex and the city,,,,at the end of the show,as we have watched the characters evolve ,which one do you indentify most with?

if not that show what about another character on another show?.

for the men, how about you,,,,,,,,what show character do you identify with,,,,,maybe someone off of the soprano's , seinfield, wings, cheers, queer as folk, etc.

Wasn't he? I was kinda upset they didn't work out... I still remember the opening scene from season 3 where Ethan seranaded Justin awake with a little music and fed justin some sweets... *sigh* . Emmit is really funny, I think he really adds to the group... and I *really* Michael and ben should dump hunter in season 4, he's such a punk kid. If they keep him around, I hope he at least he gets some better manners. Oh yeah, do you think Ted is going to get with that guy... um whats his name.. his ex-bf that is a rehab conceler now? That was such a interesting end.... while I like Ted & Emmit, I think Emmit should have someone else after what ted did.

Whoo... primetime soaps can be so addictive!

Have I got a story for you! Today, at the watchtower study... the conductor was having a hard time getting comments with paragraph 12 about the bible being translated, so... he started to explain the paragraphs (Were 12 and 13 linked? Can't remember) he brang out how the faithful brothers translated the NWT (And he said New world translation) into over 2,000 languages so more people could understand the bible better with a better translation and how it could not be accoplished without jehoober's blessing.

Course' my hand shot up and I remembered that tidbit in blondie's artical about there only being 12... and I said something like "A little correction there brother, the NWT is only in 12 diffrent languages.." He forced a smile and said thank-you.

i had it shoved in my face in the subway at 42nd street this morning by the jw drone who stands there.

as usual, i controlled my urge to kick her, but the title of the article caught my eye, pet lover that i am.. i would assume it lays a load of guilt on anyone who holds their pet in high esteem..
