  a jw that is probably irregular, they don't really attend meetings, they are not up on anything going on, they may even seem like they are faded but they are not, they are just slackers.

  a jw that is impervious to the f.o.g.

  (ok maybe it bums them, but they are too lazy and self serving to do otherwise).

  sometimes I'm in for a lecture on how I'm letting satan mislead me and I'd better hurry up and get baptized because "the doors on the arc are starting to close"

  the doors to the Ark are starting to close......

  I really hate it when JWs pull that door to the ark shit excuse out trying to scare you back into towing the organizational line and out of the other side of their mouths talk about their sock puppet jah judging people by their heart condition.

  Which face is it going to be in front of me today....the one spouting fear or the one spouting obligation and guilt!!!!

  I wonder, how can one justify in their mind to own another person.

  OH...that's an easy question to answer. You just rationalize to yourself that the bag of meat and water you own is less than a full person or not one at all.

  After slavery ended, that was still the justifications used for all of Jim Crow.

  My wife is of the too weak category to ever wake up.

  Being a witness is all she knows. She's third generation and is fully convinced that she will see her Nana again, live in paradise petting wild animals any day now as soon as, how she puts it, doesn't know how its going to happen but soon, government is going to turn on religion as and soon as they turn their attention to jehovahs people it is going to be like touching his eyeball.

  The same thing her grandmother and grandfather used to say..........dead for 30 years.

  The same thing her father used to say.........now dead for 8 years.

  The same thing her mother says..........one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel and sliding fast.

  It all sounds like pimp talk to me.

  If insanity is believing and doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result, I submit that she might be certifiable.

  Should I get babtized?

  i know this sounds like a ridiculous question but i was talking with my mom in the car today and of course we got on the topic of getting babtized again.

  she told me that jehovah holds me accountable for my sins regardless of wether i am babtized or not so i have no reason to be holding back because it won't change anything.

  my parents are the type of super strict jw who will shun you just for not being a witness.

  okay, so at the "imitate their faith" ca there was a special speaker from the gb.

  and he started discussing psalms 1:1 and how we today could "sit in the seat of scoffers".

  he then mentioned that many bros. and sisters criticize the org and think they are so smart by researching online.

  Who is the oldest GB member?

  during the talk delivered by stephen lett in our last assembly, he talked about brothers who serve despite their frail health.

  he said "one of the gb members, whom i work with every day, is 80 years old and has been a diabetic for the last 30".. give a peak into how well they are tended to and how someone that age would not dare to let go of the power that keeps him alive..

  i got baptized later in life.

  i was around 21, i had left and went out into the world should of listen to my gut back then, but instead i disowned myself and came back into the fold.

  before i could get baptized, the elder who studied with me said i needed to get rid of everything that was contaminated by this world: music, books & clothing,everything.

  My m-i-l went through all of her home products and threw away everything that had the Proctor and Gamble symbol on it.

  My wife disposed of a small statute she bought during a neighbors garage sale after she bought it home and did a little research on it. I don't think she found anything of substance about the statue but she threw it away just in case.

  A bunch of superstitious nonsense......
