I appealed my DF'ing and won. It took three hours of calling in their witnesses and having them contradict each other's stories but it worked. The elders on my original committee eventually couldn't even remember meeting with me! After they dropped the charges I stood up, shook their hands, and told them I wanted nothing to do with them. I disfellowshipped them from myself and walked away.

by Amazing inthe title to this post sounds impressive, but i am not going to do to much here that is too technical, except to draw attention to the general scope of jw justice, and the shear battlefield of religious victims.
i will evaluate just the usa statistics.
many of my numbers are estimates, but i have reason to believe that they are generally representative of reality.. there are about 1,000,000 jws in the usa, in about 7,000 congregations.

For those who asked: I was molested from ages 6-8 by one elder. My father (another elder and PO) took over at 13 and didn't stop until I moved out. I brought it to the attention of local elders the week I moved since my brother was still in the home and a minor. NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. No elders meeting was ever called and I was never questioned as to what had happened. My father admitted to his actions. No authorities were notified although I had been assured all legal aspects would "be handled." 4 years later my father told me never to mention that it had occurred more than once...which of course it had. I AGAIN reported it to the elders who, this time, asked for a meeting with me. My father confessed to everything. NO ACTION TAKEN. He now babysits for sisters on Bible studies. I have alerted over 20 elders to this situation. NO ACTION TAKEN.
Humble: How exactly is Jehovah overseeing this situation? -

I grew up in a Kingdom Hall with 3 elders. I was molested by 2 at different times in my life so I know they probably were not working together.

Please be aware that this decision and my agreement with this statement still stand; however, the new version of the question regarding loyalty to this organization was not asked of me. "
This may be helpful to others in this situation. At least it may inspire some honest-hearted ones to do a little research into the policies they are enforcing. -

I attended the meeting tonight.....

this spiritual paradise is showing a few cracks.
when i arrived about ten minutes before the meeting started, i felt like a ghost.

Thank you silent lamb for being the voice of so many who cannot speak. Your presence alone at the meetings is a roar for justice. I thoroughly understand your methods. You can do more working on the inside. If you quit going, the locals would have reason to say they were right all along and that you are hiding. Being present is putting all of them in the position of deciding on which side of the fence they are on.
My children were victims of shunning by association of me, their mother. I was disassociated due to their not handling matters with a molester, my father. I later undisassociated myself due to never taking vows of loyalty to the organization and to give the children an answer to outsiders who would say, "oh, your mom is DA'd". My children would show up for service, and have to walk home due to not being assigned to car groups. They were also refused literature. They would comment off WT's and KM's from people in front of us until they would not be called upon either. After 2 1/2 years, we quit. I did not want my children spiritually abused.
"By their fruits you will recognize them." By your fruits we recognize and applaud you. God's light shines brightly in you.
