  OMG!! It's a Copperhead!!

  in an effort to lift my spirits after a long week of mishaps and bad news, i decided i would do something for me.

  OK, here's what ya' do. I'm licensed, so trust me. Go get some peroxide 20-30 volume. Put some in the palm of your hand...a good dollop...and mix with some shampoo and wash your hair. Leave it in a few minutes and rinse. Do it a couple times and you'll see the color washing down the drain. It won't lift your natural color, just the deposited color. Then put some good conditioner on and leave a warm towel on it awhile to get the condition back. I like to microwave a damp towel to heat it. You can do it a couple days to lighten the deposited color and it will speed up the 28 shampoo process. It's called a soap-cap.

  Should We Form A Committee?

  dansk recently asked us to write and protest about the erection of a kh in bury, lancashire.. many of us did just that and the newspaper concerened emailed most of us asking for permission to publish our comments in it's weekly issue.. it was also suggested that maybe we could also write to df'ing committees to protest at their actions.. so, we're wondering, should we form some sort of committee to co-ordinate operations such as this on an ongoing basis?.

  if we did that, who would be interested in playing an active part?.

  any suggestions as to how such an operation should be run?.

  Revoke Your JW Baptism Vows on this thread!

  many of us here were baptised into the jw organisation.

  shotguns shootout thread (part 5) touches on the fact that since 1985 the vows included a dedication to "jehovahs organisation".. have you publicly revoked this?.

  why not use this opportunity to revoke your vows to the watchtower organisation?

  Do GB really go out in service????

  Death of a child

  what kind of person tells his non jw granddaughter that the death of her infant son is a "sign of the times"?

  i don't know his staus in the org, but i know that "the pressure" is now on to convince her of the error of her ways- even been suggested that had she been a jw- this might not happen....unbelieveable- please- help me understand the twisted jw stand on death and dying and grieving

  Rabbit: It's the custody brochure. I believe it's on Randy's site and readily available if you want to buy one for around $5 from Duane Magnani in California. I have a court video of the city overseer (25 year elder) denying it exists and has never heard of it while sweating profusely? Can you say perjury?

  jesus was a ransom sacrifice for many.

  according to scripture, he died to save the world and carried the sins of the world with him as he died.

  he actually suffered an horrendous death, dying 3 hours after being crucified.

  When I was young I couldn't figure out why God hated people who ''burned their children in the fire'' and sacrificed them; but he did the same thing? So how could Christianity be based on human sacrifice?

  i have been thinking about this for a while, and a couple recent events here on the board have solidified my thinking.

  first, seattleniceguy's triumph with the un posting a letter regarding the wts affiliation with the un.

  it just shows that with a little combined effort we can accomplish alot.

  I wrote a Letter to the Editor two years ago (they are more likely to be printed than ads) thanking JW's for coming to the area and enjoying the summer season bringing with them healthy business for our city. Then I encouraged residents to show their support by donating blood for those who can now accept factions but still were unable to donate for each other.

  It got a reaction.
