he followed it to the letter and when he got to the end, it pretty much said, "oh, and if you do all this and get in trouble with the law, we didn't tell you any of this.".

i just came up with these thoughts...... if a baptized mother or father d'a themselves, what effect does that have on their unbaptized children?
are they automatically shunned?
I live 2 blocks from the KH in town. My children (baptized and un-baptized) attend meetings there and have the 5 years since I left. Anyway, they are NEVER invited to get-togethers and rarely called on to comment at this hall. They speak of this hall and how they hate it because they are treated so coldly. It's working for me.

i was raised in the jws, but i'm still young (22) and all my life what i've been told is that the society never really promoted 1975 as the definitive year for the coming of armageddon.
what i was always told is that some overzealous witnesses took certain things out of context and developed a very extreme reaction - ie selling their houses, quitting their jobs, dropping out of school, etc.
My parents didn't send my brother to Kindergarten because if they kept him out, he would NEVER have to go to public schools in this system. He graduated the eldest in his class and is now 37.

last friday the judge decided that my wrongfull death suit for my daughters estate can proceed against the watchtower society and its lawyers and the doctors.
the story received national news coverage on saturday and tuesday with alot of coverage on monday.
