If this man is indeed a paranoid schizophrenic (im not a doctor and im in no way qualified to know if he is or isnt) then i feel pitty for his victiums and pitty for him. That he wishes to believe in paradise is, i would suspect , a coping mechanism.
That he was ultimatly drawn into the cult is irrelevant to his murders prior to his being medicated and ultimatly indoctrinated in the cult.

by lurkernomore injust checked the faq on jw.org as i wanted to show a df'd friend of ours how dishonest they were being about thier shunning policy.. well don't you know they've only gone and got honest about shunning df'd ones:.
'we do not automatically disfellowship someone who commits a serious sin.
if, however, a baptized witness makes a practice of breaking the bibles moral code and does not repent, he or she will be shunned or disfellowshipped.

I love that quote and remind my son of it often. I would argue though that this site, and all others like it, have already "won". Winning wont be measured by the end of the wtbs society or some official announcment that the doors have closed at bethel. Winning is defined as one person being saved from a life of servitude and denial of self. By that standard this site and all others like it have won countless times over :) -

Well, playing along a bit here, i would have to say that df'ing the big guy isnt an option. The boss can do whatever he wants, by default, if he does it its ok for him to do it..
However i think its noteworthy to look at biblical examples of humans who would have merited df'ing (this has been before but what the heck i will start us off)....
Aaron. Built the golden calf. Should have been killed (df'd by todays standards) but wasnt. He even stayed as an appointed man.
King david. For multiple things including adultry and murder to cover the adultry. He also kept his privledges of service.
