Slim, its interesting that no matter how unlikable they are the jwâs wont let themselves acknowledge their feelings. I totally agree, btw. I remember seeing that over emoting rubber faced clown lett an international convention with the woman i was married to at the time (i was still a believer). I was incredibly turned off by his antics and said so to many there... not one would agree. He was gb so he was incapable of being less than perfect in their eyes. Ive tried over and over with people who will express doubts over a teaching but when it comes to questioning a member of the gb they just refuse... its so deeply indoctrinated that these are jesus brothers they just wont let themselves go that far. Its only when they have doubts on other things that they begin to see what ass hats they are

The watchtower does not have the resources
by pepperheart inif you have a look at the december broadcast on jw tv they tell you that they wont be showing you a normal format for december but the 143rd event of gilead because the watchtower does not have the resources other wise to translate it many different lanuages.. with all the cuts the watchtower have made and are going to make you would have thought that they would have lots of resources.

The Perfect Storm in 2018?
by Wild_Thing ini have been sadly watching as the number of jws in other countries are decreasing (for the most part), while the numbers in the us are strangely increasing.
while i question the organization's self reporting numbers, i think 2018 may be the year for another mass us exodus.
leah remini's show will be focusing on jws in her show on a&e.

I think a number of long term internal pressures will bring decline in the United States. (Unless the organisation actually collapses which is also possible)
đđđđđđđđđđ .... just sayin....
I will the above is just wishful thinking, but wouldn't it be great?
yes, it is.

Well...It's 2018 and still no ''Armageddon''
by RULES & REGULATIONS in1972 : we started studying with the jehovah's witnesses when my uncle became an elder and put fear into our family that armageddon was close.
1974 : my mom, my brother and i were all baptized after all the convention talks and watchtower magazine articles that 1975 would likely end this system of things.
1999 : being told that the year 2000 was going to mark the 6 thousand years of mans existence and that the 1000 year kingdom in the new paradisewould come in the year 2000.

Uhm.... i was around in 1999 and dont recall anything about 2000 marking 6k of mans existence . That was part of the 75 debacle. They were smart enough not print anything about 2000
your point is well taken, however. No big A in sight. So much for 100+ years of kingdom rule.

I like the p900 (i assume you mean the nikon not the old cell phone). I am a nikon guy (dslr), my problem with the p900 is the same as any compact.. the sensor is small and zoom is digital. On a sunny day outdoors the zoom will be a great feature but night time or low light not so much. Because its an all in one your not switching out the lens. As long as it fits your needs, great, but for that money you can get a dslr that has more expandability.

Repeal of Internet Neutrality. How will it affect surfers?
by Fisherman intoday the fcc voted against internet neutrality..

Lol carefull, ttddtt... your bias is showing. I also work in the industry. I expect you mean that you work as a web designer or some other ancillary industry. I work under fcc rules everyday, in dc, as it happens, so yes i am all too familiar with the heavy hand of the FCC. Im licensed 3 different ways by them for my job. Thats why in saving my internet for when the rationing starts.
sarcasm aside, your bias is indeed showing. You do know that three of the five commissioners of the fcc are political appointees... right? And do you know who appointed the villian of your story, Ajit Pai..? Nope. Not the donald. Guess again. Heres a hint: hes the only Kenyan born president... lol ok i tease, but Pai was indeed appointed by none other barack hussein obama. It was the donald who made him chairman, but he was already a commissioner
also you misunderstand how the fcc works. Your villian, Ajit Pai, has only one vote, not some ultimate authority.
Perhaps youd like to join me in my bunker? Theres still room but you have to bring your own internet. Im not sharing
