  The International Space Station passing Overhead At 10:22 pm ESDST Lakes entrance Victoria Australia.

  it`s always a buzz to see this with the naked eye and know that their are human beings orbiting the earth a couple of hundred miles up every 90 minutes or so .. the wife and i were just sitting out on our porch/patio waiting for the cool change to arrive when i noticed this "star" moving across the sky in a se/nw (?

  ) direction { i hope that`s right }.

  anyhow i thought some others on here may be interested in tracking the iss from time to time.. by the way the cool change hasn`t arrived here yet it`s still quite warm though not as hot as it was today at 41 deg c.

  i did a quick search and this doesn’t appear to have been commented on here, but if it has been, i apologise in advance for starting an unnecessary thread.. regarding a change to a song title, the study article on page 7 paragraph 17 of november 2017 watchtower explained, “the change of the title “guard your heart” to “we guard our hearts” was most considerate.

  in the audience at our meetings, assemblies, and conventions are many new ones, interested ones, young ones, and sisters who by singing the words would be put in the awkward position of telling others what to do.

  so the title and the lyrics were modified.”.

  I think we are missing something a bit more significant. I submit that the wording change wasnt about some imaginary possibility that a woman may accidentally “teach” a man through a song... dont get me wrong, the org is really that stupid and petty, but i think its a bit deeper.

  This is all about self indoctrination. With this newest song book all the wordings were changed to personal pronouns instead of collective references. Go back and look at the brown book and then at the newest crappy song book. The changes are startling, at least they were when i was still in. I realized how personal they had made the songs and how weird it felt to sing the words when i didnt agree. The brown book, even when i was awake, never made me feel that way... it was all in the wording.

  Yep i track the iss and a few other satellites. Its a ton of fun. Kind of a bitch though cause the earth is flat and orbits require a sphere

  Part of using acronyms is to have exclusive language which makes those in the know feel special and exclusive. This isnt unquie to religious cults. corporations , the government even military all use that sort of exclusive language. In all those groups but especially in religious cults, it helps identify who keeps current with policy. Look at the recent change from district assembly to regional convention. Pointless. Means exactly the same thing. There was absolutely no change in structure or form. Just a change for change sake. Thats what cults do. All part of the mandatory group think

  Will The Governing Body Sell Out The Watchtower Corporation In A Plea Bargin With Prosecutors?

  as the lawsuits continue to increase world wide against the watchtower corporation and it's branches,, things could get very dire for the governing body to plea bargin for a lighter sentence and so turn over crucial evidence against their fellow f&dss, technically beat their fellow slave and what not.. now i know a lot of you will be thinking: "what on earth could lead to the gb blowing the whistle on fellow his fellow gbs?

  " i think that a legitimate question and offer no answer but just use your imagination as if this thing led them to make a run to the opposition to rat on others to get a lighter sentence.. hey i'm thinking about man's powerful desire to save one's own skin at the expense of his loyal companion..

  You are off your meds tonight. Things arnt even remotely near that point and any lawsuits are brought against the corporation not the individual members of the gb who are legally not even the heads of the corporation anymore. Your scenario just dosent add up on any level.

  God what a slippery slope of stupidity.

  Most books are written with the aim to convince the reader of certain view point. Thats hardly extremist because you disagree with the idea. All the shit lloyd writes is extremist by that definition, its just trying to convince you of a view point you agree with so its different.

  I hate the wt. banning them because you disagree is wrong. Your favorite view point is next if thats what we are doing. Freedom entails responsibility and the understanding that other view points , even those you dont agree with, are the right of others to posses.

  Theres also the uglyness that his works were used to justify and support (rightly or wrongly) the national socialist movement in germany (yea the nazi’s) and then later in the 60’s it was white washed to make them more socially acceptable. So theres that too... anyway you slice it he didnt envision a singularity and was bat shit crazy.

  Nietzsche Died in 1900. The concept of a singularity was a century beyond him.

  He also went insane.

  My story is way better and makes a similar point in a far more entertaining way
