the way you phrased that really hits a chord for me. Whether you meant this way or not it highlights just how the cult and religion in general works all to often. Theres no biblical basis for his rediculious remarks about pants... its entirely HIS view and therefore becomes his deserts gods view. That is to say, he assumes his god agrees with him because thats how he (tight pants tony) feels. Its litterally “his jehovahs” view, not necessarily the god of the bibles view (not that he is relevant either). Its just the phrasing that hits home for me, “his jehovah”. His version of jehovah.

And the closing remark of the clip, that he would never disrespect the desert god by wearing tight pants... really? Drama much? Insane. He is genuinly obsessed with pants. Thats what happens when people wield absolute power. Their personal vendettas are magnified and made paramount.

the chinese news agency published these images (and a few more today) they are among the clearest i've seen of these reclusive animals.. the explanatory caption notes: .

photo taken on oct. 22, 2017 shows a snow leopard at three-river-source national park in northwest china's qinghai province.

china is home to between 2,000 and 2,500 snow leopards, which roam across the provincial level regions of xinjiang, tibet, qinghai, gansu, sichuan, yunnan and inner mongolia.

Indeed. Its a shame the chinese have hunted them so heavily, although recent conservation efforts, while modest, are a step in the right direction

i was born january 15, 1947in mt.

carmel hospital, detroit, michigan.. within six months of my birth, my mother would bundle her baby boy into a blanket and board an american airlines propeller-driven plane--in effect, leaving my father behind--to return to her hometown, ft. worth, texas.. my dad had an excellent job working for cadillac as an inspector.

it was a union job.

i suppose its easy to look at the futility of it all... but today is all thats promised to any of us and living according to our values and enjoying the fruits of our labors is important and satisfying. And for whatever its worth, terry, i really enjoy reading your posts ;)

George Lucas tinkering with Star Wars films

just thought i'd start a thread about lucas revisiting star wars films and making new edits - for better or for worse.. first off, let me say that george lucas has a tremendous imagination and star wars (1977), also known as episode 4: a new hope, and the empire strikes back (1980) - episode 5 in the franchise - are two of my favourite films.

as progress has been made in special effects, including the development of cgi, it makes sense for lucas to go back and retouch the spaceships, laser blasts and light sabres, improving what was 70s and 80s effects.. but i feel that lucas' tinkering has been a mixed bag - some have been bad choices, some unnecessary and others have been good.. what do you think ... .

The flaws you cited are the some of the same things that irritated me. I found myself yelling at both rouge one and tfa “GIVE ME A NEW PLOT!!!!!!” The nice thing about rouge one was that although it wasnt a “new” plot it wasnt a rehash like tfa. It was suplimental but enjoyable. And the vader scene was beyond words

Far from ridiculous flat earth and men didnt go to the moon tripe, this sort of theoretical discussion is fascinating to me. Im a fan of the multiverse theory, if only because in the infinite number of other universes there is a reality where i am king of said universe. I can go super sayian and fight all evil, winning every epic battle with a kamamaha. On my off days i and my four friends run around in our robotic lions that can combine and form a larger robot with a blazing sword. Scarrlett johanson is my wife and dotes on my every desire. Its a pretty damn good multiverse.

I think many do not donate at all and would be shocked at the initial request but would quickly get over it. The gb would throw a little razzle dazzle ‘old testament principle’, mix in a little random quote or two from paul and boom! They would roll with it. Also when ive mentioned this (i believe its coming) ive said they wont call it a tithe specifically but thats what it will be.. hell the kh perpetual mortgage scam is a form of tithe as it is.

Mac, i am on record saying the rank and file would take a tithe and never blink once.

Shunning however.... that would signal their demise. Not because the rank and file would care but because without the hammer of shunning the cult falls apart.
