Since we are talking has been tennis players weighing in here is another one:
I like Martina Navratilova’s take.. shes much more balanced than billy king. Serenas behavior is indefensible.
so serena williams lost the us open final 6-2, 6-4 to naomi osaka, her japanese-american opponent.. williams received three code violations from the umpire, carlos ramos: .
1. a warning for illegal coaching (subsequently admitted by williams's coach).
2. a point penalty for smashing her racquet.

In 2009 (one of the events i referenced before) Serena threatened to shove a "F**** ball" down the "F***** throat" of a small female line judge during the US Open.
She is more than happy to bully people when it suits her but now wants to cry foul over justifed penalties?
Please.

Except having played tennis 40 years ago is not a prerequisite for understanding serna clearly broke rules, was appropriately sanctioned, was definitely loosing and ended up behaving like an ass. Also, having played tennis 40 years ago isnt necessary to understand serena is playing the ‘poor little woman’ card. Nobody looks down on her. She has carried woman's tennis for 15 years, damn near single handled. This stunt was below her.
as an aside ole billy gene can hardly be said to not have a dog in this fight. She has been crying about women being treated unfairly for entire career. This was move right out of her worn out play book, of course she backed serena.
hi, i seem to remember that the society have said that you are not viewed as a witness if you have not reported for 6 months.. does this ring any bells?
someone i know has been called for a judicial, even though she has said she doesn’t believe and is not not attending meetings and hasn’t for 6 months.what she did was 12 months ago when she was a witness.. she is not sure whether she should turn up or not, as turning up shows she thinks she answers to elders still.
but also doesn’t want to be automatically disfellowshipped which may happen if she doesn’t turn up.. if there is an article to quote saying someone inactive isn’t seen as a witness, this would be helpful.. any thoughts?.
Unfortunately she is still considered a witness. What your referring to with the six month no time reported time frame means she is considered “inactive”. That dosent have a lot of bearing on the committee. If they have invited her (and it sounds like they have) they will indeed df her in absentia if she dosent show up for the kangaroo court. Im sorry.

Was Serena “sticking up for women’s rights” when she threatened violence against a female line judge in 2009 at the US Open or when she abused a female umpire during 2011 US Open or when she threatened to sue a female umpire at Wimbledon in 2016...? Asking for a friend
i studied biology at uni and specialised in animal biology (wolf behaviour) but i've always liked natural history.. even if i never went to uni, i'd still be amazed by nature and i'd still watch nature programs on tv.. i'd like start a thread where posters can post nature clips that are in some way amazing.. the vid below shows wild wolves in the canadian arctic encountering humans for the first time.. these wolves haven't been exterminated by human hunters and therefore haven't learnt to fear humans.
result: wild wolves approach human strangers almost like dogs.
pretty cool.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izgavk7fovu .
Changed has an open ended connotation, its neither good nor bad. In the context of an eco system change is typically negative, especially when an organism has been “introduced”.
In this case however, “change” isnt bad and the organism wasnt “introduced” it was “reintroduced”. The wolves are a natural part of the ecology and were removed by man, not as a part of any natural process.
what are you thoughts on this?.
i find this alarming because jones was very outspoken and had great guests on discussing topics most other media outlets wouldn't go near.. the fact that many have restricted him access to their medium what does this say on our freedoms of speech?.
What does “harassing” a reporter in “the halls of congress” have to do with twitter and its terms of service? Please, for the love of god, think before you type. Dont be so desperate to justify an action that you fail to pay attention to your own words and logic... or lack thereof.

Let this sink in for a minute.... David Duke and Louis Farrakhan are still on twitter. Whats the standard?

And today, a mere one day after he appeared before congress, “@jack” (twitter ceo) has susspended alex jones.
