  She should only be behind the wheel of a car if im pushing it over a cliff after she burns dinner.

  The only control a woman should have is deciding if she wants to be tied up with silk or nylon rope. Why is she even in the car to begin with? A woman belongs in the home, always. With the advent of services like peapod that deliver groceries she need never leave the kitchen or bedroom. God help us all if women get to believing garbage that sugguests its even open for discussion that perhaps they may one day be permitted to have rights.

  As a side point i saw very early on that the 'two day miracle' was anything but. My crew was called in the thursday before to begin carpentry work and the concrete was poured weeks in advance which involved a lot of plumbing and other trades. In the weekend of miracles prefabed walls were ercted, roof trusses set and inside finishing done. A lot of work to be sure but not a miracle. And there were always dozens of people milling about with nothing to do

  in watts, california it took decades for city residents to get a grocery store after the thugs burned their businesses to the ground.

  Right wing media...? What have i or anyone else mentioned that is related to "right wing media"?

  And as for tulsa....sigh.... You do know MD was a union state, right? Nevermind. Its very difficult to reason with people who know nothing about the local culture or "vibe" but make emphatic statements about tulsa from 100 years ago, things that wouldnt have fit Maryland even then let alone now. I officially surrender on this one. I will let passion have its sway.

  And that is certainly true. Experiance is a harsh instructor. I tend to hope that on any topic we can have an inteligent even if impassioned discusion. It may not change any minds today but perhaps one or both sides of a discussion will consider it in the long run.

  I normally dont get involved in these deabtes on the board for that very reason but this one, because it is indeed where i live, is personal.

  i get it. I dont take annomious internet insults personally. Some people like being keyboard commandos, but If you cant formulate an argument for your POV and devolve into irrational insults and foolish 'i hope you die' drivel then maybe a discussion bord isnt for that person. i should have reworded my response and refrained from addressing him as a fool personally and for that i appoligize, however i stand by the idea that addressing the situtaion with authority from a distance is foolish.

  I also appreciate simon trying to restore and keep decorum and i will do my part to keep it within bounds.
