  yes, star trek impulse drive was click bait.

  but this british designed engine has been compared to that.. interplanetary travel could be a step closer after scientists confirmed that an electromagnetic propulsion drive, which is fast enough to get to the moon in four hours, actually works.. .

  the em drive was developed by the british inventor roger shawyer nearly 15 years ago but was ridiculed at the time as being scientifically impossible.. .

  Is the two-witness rule really unreasonable?

  i'm picturing a situation in which a savvy 12 year old doesn't like the house rules that mom's new husband has put into place.

  or something along that line.

  i can certainly agree that protection of children is paramount, but who protects the real victim in those cases?

  Of course its unreasonable. Who abuses a child with two witnesses present???? Who commits any crime in full view of witnesses?

  99% of judicial cases avoid the stupidity of the two witness rule because people confess. Its a cult, they are indoctrinated and feel guilty and come forward. Two witness rule not needed. in cases of child abuse whos going to admit that?? Pedos don't confess.

  i've thought and said too much to ever gain jehovahs forgiveness and love if i want to be a christian again.

  i made a topic on my unforgivable sin and blaspemy of the holy spirit.. i feel saddness everyday having no relationship with god, no religion and fear of the afterlife.

  even when i was kid i feared death and the end of the world.

  you may need professional help. Im not suggesting that your crazy or unusual or abnormal... But a lot of people existing cults need some help to sort it all out. You seem to be stuck in place where your half in half out, mentally. It gets better.

  in a recent newsweek article there is a lengthy treatment of the question "how would churchill manage putin?.

  it pointed out that churchill would not have challenged hitler if hitler had the ability to destroy all the major cities in north america and europe in a single hour.. churchill is quoted as describing nuclear weapons as .
