you are actually making the proper point, albiet sarcastically and by mistake. You can take a child to the lab and give him or her the proper chemicals to feel exactly what ylu describe as love. It would be exactly as satisfying and exactly as enjoyable. Orgasiums can be created with great intensity with stimulation to the proper part of the brain....

My point being, the feelings we describe as love or religious feeling or anyother are very much the result of chemicals in our bodies. They can in fact be duplicated by synthetic substances, more than one way to skin a cat as it were. Id rather my kids feel love from me than from a bottle, id rather screw a a real woman than have my brain stimulated amd id rather worship Thor than the god of the bible.

Taking your personal chemical reactions and citing them as proof of god is proof of nothing more than a religious feeling shared by all mammals accross a variety of experiances that dont share a common theme. Its not god. Its biology.

interesting observation given that music can move people to do irrational things..... Its almost as if belief in god is...well....irational and based on emotion, not reason....hmmmmm

Im not one to mock the innocence of a child but your analysis of her answer leaves much to be desired. Its the lack of understanding of a young one that leads them to surmise it's a magic sky daddy that makes some seeds cucumbers and some seeds grass. The real tragedy is you cite the actual answer (dna) bit still revert to the magical sky daddy anyway. She at least has an excuse.

even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.

the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

I think thats a fair summation, simon. I suspect that, aside from the huge leak, the biggest deal is the new languge in general. Very different from normal witness speak and its causing it to be perceived as a bigger change than it really is

Cedars leaked letter requested to be taken down by WTBTS

i don't know if this is already posted so sorry people if it is.

cedars site has had a request to take down the leaked letter regarding changes to the theocratic ministry school and other issues.. the reason given by wt is that it is a "copyright" issue.

of course this validates the letters authenticity even more.. have a good day or night people.

the origin of the watchtower organisation was in the announcement of ct russells pet theory, formed from adventism that christ had arrived in the heavens in 1874. within a biblical forty years i.e.1914, gods enemies he said, would be destroyed and peace would pervade the earth.

he was completely wrong.. the watchtower magazine however by this time had a large readership and trundled on after it was commandeered by rutherford who nourished its doomsday scam.

So what now....? Well i dont know about you but im getting ready to head to work. Utilities dont install themselves...

oh wait, you meant the for the cult...? That actually dosent change my answer. The reality is nothing is really changing. The cult will always have followers. Thats why they are cults and not "mainstream " religions.

They will still have meetings. They will still have people willing to knock on doors and stand in front of carts and write letters to people who just a loved one. They will still have sycophants who are willing to believe every word written by the org is "truth".

and im still going to work. Cults go on and so do our lives :)
