" please tell me your feelings on this subject as i feel that i should not be here but for some reason keep returning....do we believers feel that we can make some good here and is that why we continue to come here?

"the U.N." - it's effects on the witnesses
by gumby inin short......i am surprised of the organisations involvement with the u.n......had the damaging effect to the degree that it did......upon those who learned of it.. when the 'generation change' occured in 94', i thought there would be a bigger fallout.
when the voting issue happened, i thought it would cause quite a stir.
with "dateline" and "fifth estate" uncovering child molestation issue among jehovah's witnesses....i thought many would fall out.. what gets me is the amount , that were effected by the u.n. scandle.

I actually do not know a single witness that left that religion because of the UN cover-up nor have I ever known a witness that left because of the dateline sex coverup, they are brain washed to believe the original lie and they are brain washed to believe the lies used to cover up

did you ever miss the memorial?
by freelife indid any of you ever miss the memorial while you were in?
i missed 2 of them.
once i had a very serious staff infection in my leg and i could not wear any pants or shorts because it ran all the way up my thigh.

We all dream. What are you dreaming ? You may be dreaming of family on their way to your home for the holidays or that perfect meal your preparing for 12. Perhaps you are dreaming of wrapping a mountainious pile of presents or fighting cranky crouds for the most recent Hollywood induced craze! I once heard about a young man who dreamed on Christmas Eve. While most kids were dreaming of Santaand presents, this teenage boy dreamed about life without Christmas.
In his dream, the boy found himself up dressed very early in the mourning. Bouncing a ball and donned in his baby blue Nike warm-up suit, he ran down to the school to meet his friends. A plan to play a hot game of basketball had been brewing since the last day of school before Christmas break. Dumb founded, the young man saw only a vacant lot. Quickly, he turned around several times and he furtively checked the street sign to make sure he was on the right corner. He was. Finally, he saw a small yard sign in the middle of the lot that had once housed his school. It read, "If I had not come".
He hurried then to the Hospital, where some of his friends were to gather in the early mourning. They had eachbought and wrapped gifts for the children stuck in the hospital for Christmas. But there again he saw only a big empty space, and a similar sign: If I had not come."
Bewildered, he thought of the early mourning service at his church and ran there, expecting to join his parents at worship. Only he found another large vacant lot, and that same peculiar sign: " If I had not come." When the young man awakened, nuances of the dream teased him. "What did I dream? What did it mean?" Slowly, the message crept from his mind into his heart. What if Jesus had not come to Earth?
Education, Medicine and churches are not the only segments of society that the presence of of Christ has influenced. What about helping the needy? Or bringing social justice to the world? Or, the embracing of true freedom? The human heart touched by Christ changed the ancient world incredibly and still changes everything it comes in contact with. After all, where would we be if we hadn't learned forgiveness? What would our homes look like if we didn't serve one another?
What would bring joy even when suffering seems our plight in life? How would we find peace in a world of turmoil? What if we had never learned to turn the other cheek? What if Jesus had never come? I know only one thing for sure, and that is what kind of person I would be if I did not know Jesus. Believe me, it would be a nightmare. And that in itself compels me to to fall on my knees this Christmas season and sing" O night devine! O night when Jesus was born!"
This young man who dreamed was myself. Merry Christmas to all and to all I pray you find peace in Jesus.!

I feel there have been no communication because Jesus was the fulfillment of all things and the need of such things no longer are needed. The only thing left to do now is his return. The reason for all the miseries on this earth is caused by Satan who is the ruler of this earth at this time, stated so in scripture, people ask or say why would God allow or cause such things to happen. Well he doesn't cause castrophies or miseries or sickness it is satan who causes such things. God is all about love and if we love him he loves us back, but Satan rather is all about hate. Remember that God created Adam and Eve to live originally in paradise forever as long as they followed Gods commands. Life was perfect then and was not until they disobeyed God that all the bad things in life began. So the blame is on satan and not God, he plainly says that if we follow his laws we will reap the benifit and if we do not we reap that benefit the same benefit that Satan will reap. It is no different than what we do when our children do wrong things when they do they are punished just as we were when were children.. So God being the father punish us the same as we punish our children...Make sense to me and I don't see why it is so hard for others to except that.
There were some post made here in this thread were the concept of faith was lost . If God made it so easy for us to believe then we would all be in heaven wouldn't we but it is up to us to pass the test and if we do we benefit from it greatly...

It seems to me that every time one of there lies came out in the open they covered it with another lie. Those involved in that religion were so brain washed that they could not see these lies and just followed what was being told to them as they seem to do through out the past of the borg. If they can manage to brain wash someone into believing their faith why would they not beable to succeed in successful deception.?

After reading all your fine post I now have to ask, what happened to faith ? Is that not what we are to maintain in order to receive Gods Blessings in the beginning ?. Many of you that posted here said there was no proof but I have to add that if we open our eyes can we not see enough evidence ? How can anyone say there is no proof when all we have here on this planet and in the universe could not possibly just happen. Has anyone ever had a miracle happen in their own lives and if so can you honestly say "it happened just because" ? There are many things in our daily lives that we use faith so why loose faith in your God ? I understand that there is a bitterness towards Jehovahs Witnesses and after reading many threads here I see that the bitterness is not just towards the religion itself but towards those who are dupped just as yourselves were. I see a judgement towards people just as yourselves and a anger towards them also. I see that it is not until they leave the borg that they become welcome into the realm of leavers.
Well I see evidence of Gods existence everyday all I have to do is have an open heart and eyes to see it. So I guess it is easy to say that the borg has left many blinded, in their eyes as well as their hearts. I want you all to know that they will stand responsible for that at judgement day. It is not important to be religious but it is important to have spirituality and faith. I use to think at a time in my life that the key was in a church but now through careful study a searching in myself that the key is to be spiritual and to believe that Jesus did give his life as a ransom for me.
Some of you say that you believe that there was a man who existed in history called Jesus and so if that be so then you must believe the history written on his life, and as history tells it he did perform miracles of raising the dead and healing the sick and done without any medical equipment, have you ever heard or read of any other who has done such miraclous work ? I have not and I have been around and studied enough to know. Not that I know all as I do not but I can say this, I have seen the miracles myself starting with myself and I have seen the work of evil also we all have, everyday of our lives.
I will close with this, why are you spiting God for what the Jehovahs Witness religion has done to you, God did not do it to you but you yourselves did it as you allowed them to control your minds. I do not say these things to be hateful towards anyone or to dismantle any of your intelligent structures but out of concern for all who have gone through what you all have. I guess I should say "Don't kick God in the butt just because someone human kicked you in the butt..
May you all find peace in Gods spirit someday.....
