I guess the attached files might be illegible. In that case, see:

i am drawing from the collected wisdom of this board, which has never let me down before!
i'm doing some research for a school project and was wondering if anyone had any sources (academic, news, articles, anything "legit") discussing the relationship between a person's religion, education, and political party -- or any combination of those.
i do have the list ranking each religion's percentage of college-educated members, but i'm having a hard time finding anything linking these to political party.

The following data are from "One Nation under God. Religion in Contemporary American Society", by B.A. Kosmin & S.P. Lachman. Mind you, the book was published in 1993 so I assume some of this information might be outdated.
*** g73 5/22 p. 13 is there life beyond the earth?
well, to this day, after many probes to mars and thousands of pictures of it, there is not the slightest shred of proof that life exists on mars or other planets in the solar system or on any other planets in the universe.. the christian, particularly, knows that even a million landings on mars, venus, jupiter, saturn or any of the planets and their moons will fail to reveal evolution of life.
well let's just wait and see shall we?.....
Just curious. Do any of you know of any religion that acknowledges the existance of life on other planets? I only know of one.
The Raelian Movement. And about 20 more are listed in the Encyclopedia of American Religions
when did the wts become so infatuated with the cross vs. stake theory?
did they come up with this theory in order to say, "see?
we teach the truth!
Perhaps one of the reasons for rejecting the cross was Rutherford's intense dislike of Roman Catholicism and related symbolism. Btw, besides the WTS there are other religious organization who teach this 'stake' doctrine - "Christian Churches of God", for example. Others within Christian Fundamentalism teach that the 'cross' had the shape of a ' T '.
.
since the watchtower society has been reorganized and split up in all these (sub)corporations, i wonder where the real power is located.
my guess would be the wtbts of pennsylvania, inc. other ideas?

part 4 - who really introduced the sword of war?
peace is supposed to be a central feature of watchtower theology ?
a peaceful paradise earth ?

i've been doing some research this afternoon and come up with some interesting info.
well i think it's interesting because i've not read it before but if these links have been posted before please forgive me.
here's an interesting abstract: the mental health of jehovah's witnesses.
Apparently, not every expert agreed with Spencer's research findings.
