  i was watching one of the extras on the knocking dvd and a woman commentator talked about a scandalous letter from the jw's to hitler and the nazi party in 1933. does anyone know where i can read this letter at?.

  For whatever it's worth, good old Freud had an answer to that.

  From childhood onward, man feels attracted to the parent of the opposite sex. Accordingly, women are attracted to all masculine parental symbols in Christianity - God and Jesus. Following Freud, the masculine leadership of the WTS may function as a surrogate parenthood.

  so the wife and i have decided to take a short vacation.

  it will be during the memorial.. i know that the wife has to attend that, of course.. so, i call around and get the phone number for the city overseer for the city we plan to .

  i ask about the language group- he gives me a phone number for the po of the group.. i leave a message "we will be visiting [your city] during that week and we need the time and .

For example, Armstrong's former "Worldwide Church of God" and its countless split-off's distribute "Awake"-like magazines to the general public and restrict specific doctrinal discussions to their membership only. In this way controversial teachings (for example, in the case of Armstrong and the split-offs, the discouragement to see doctors or the human race issue) are somewhat hidden from public scrutiny. This limited access is legitimized by Heb 5:12-14 - milk for the baby and solid food for the mature.

  what is it makes some of those wacky apostates appear from time to time claiming russell and the witnesses were/are all part of some great freemason/illuminati plot?

  i'll tell you what it is, and it may explain a few other things for you too!

  people who come up with these theories demonstrate a basic psychological insecurity stemming from their involvement and subsequent disentanglement from the witnesses.

  Timothy Whalen "Armageddon Around the Corner", p. 187:

  "The father and two brothers of the victim of an automobile accident in Texas in 1952 stood guard in her hospital room to prevent doctors from giving a transfusion. (...) Finally doctors called the police who arrested the three men on the grounds of disturbing the peace. (...) The woman herself was not a Witness.

  wow, this one really got my attention.

  gordon, and ej-jw from across the pond has broadcast his email which is an unequivicating diatribe and prediction of doom for the brooklyn bethel complex on or near the beast day : 6-6-06. well here's his email in it's entirety, feedback is welcome.

  i heard the fbi showed up to question him when he visited nyc recently to deliver a warning message to brooklyn headquarters.
