it was not in any way nasty, derogatory, rude, blasphemous, or with profanity but it was civil, truthful, & very informative that some have described as extremely truthful to enlightening, an ebullient disclosure.

i got to see some paraphrases extracted from it that have been circulating quietly or rather secretly passed around & i agree with the latter description.. the governing body was greatly perturbed, alarmed, to confused with this letter particularly as they became aware several of the congregation were also sent copies which some of the local congregational elders raised controversial questions about but mainly was dismissed by them without reading, to scoffing & ridicule but some also saw something more truthful to concern them.

i was surprised she messaged me.

i think it's because the cart witnesses i spoke to in my previous post in her kh must have mentioned that they met me.. i screen shot the messages but they've come out all wonky so please bare with me.. notice how she defends the cult even over the blatant wrong doings i refer to.. .

I thought similar Scratchme... my sister can't think for herself because she feels so many are so much smarter then her and chose this so it must be true, especially our mother. Funny last night, my mother told me that I am just a deep thinker and my sister is not and that's why she'll never be able to socialize with me because she is afraid I will make sense and confuse her and she doesn't want the confrontation.apparently, my mom thinks she is way strong and can take my doubts on without affect. So, reading your texts PE, I think your sister is "honoring" your dad and to open to you it would betray him. He was "loyal to Jah (borg) and so she must be". It's a belief based on bias and the survival brain kicks in against thought and reason, and no reasonable critical thinking and proven facts can penetrate at this time. IT TOTALLY SUCKS! Sending you a knowing hug...

Does the Average R&F JW understand what grace is in Christianity ?

i`m showing my ignorance here , not being an active member of any church before joining jw`s as a 19 yr old ,whenever i was ever confronted with the question of "grace" i was always at a loss to give an effective answer from a jw point of view.. was it just me ?

or did anybody else have a similar experience ?.

(ps , i dont think i ever heard the expression " grace" in a religious sense in all my 33 years in the borg.studying the wt.).

Grace makes one feel like a safe child in a loving parents arms, undeserved kindness makes you feel like you need to be thankful for the privilege of being in a group home for unwanted kids lucky enough to have a meal and a bed. Shut up, do your chores to justify your spot in the 'loving home' if you break our rules or even ask why they shove you out the door with a kick in the ass .

Thats why the Bible was wrong and WT fixed it lol. Perfect reply Outlaw!
