For any victims of abuse by Elders/Watchtower
by nicolaou inif you are still holding on to your story and struggling alone please, please consider speaking up now.
the australian royal commission into child abuse has shown that these enquiries are not toothless and can in fact make a difference, but only if they are empowered by brave individuals like you.. now it's the turn of the uk.
yes, there's been a few false starts but now is the time to tell them what happened.

Totally funny comments and sad the org is really going there. I can hear the special needs talk now. Poop emoji use is uncleaness and therefore Mark the unclean emoji sexual poop sexting violators of holiness.

How do JW's determine a person is anointed?
by thinker11 ini've always wondered about this.
when a person believes they made a spiritual connection with god and proclaims themselves as anointed, how do they determine whether this person is anointed or not.
does a group of elders look at the person's spiritual resume and check off the person's pioneer stats, bible knowledge, attendance, work ethic, personality, etc and then believe in the person if they have a good track record?

From my understanding, You just know ... Holy Spirit bears witness to yours that you belong to Christ and life takes on a new meaning. Most christians experience this as they put on the new personality, filtering life's experiences through the filter of patterning Christ in love, humility, compassion, kindness - Christ being the revelation of divine love. I've seen this in so many christians attending various churches. It's sad the Jw doctrine is a contradiction of "undeserved kindness" Grace and legalism, leading to missing out on experiencing a Grace filled life instead of a guilt/work self-righteousness focus. Once convicted you are compelled to follow the leanings of that Love dominated Spirit although human imperfection can interrupt the behavior. To me it's the awareness that I am beloved of my creator and I can choose to live my life in that strength, if my source is Love therefore I am love (except when I'm not in which Christ then makes up for my lack and I am not under condemnation or feeling guilty for not being good enough because Christ is Good in my place) the Holy Spirit convicts the individual of this. It's not weird or hocus pocus but can be sudden, like an aha moment of awareness and thereafter you just begin to see the fulfillment of all in Christ Jesus...the way, truth and life. Its not about being a king in the earthly sense of ruling over others as WT teaches... that's why it's all confusing to jw"s.

Are baptized Witnesses that are no longer in the "truth", but were NEVER DF'D, now to be shunned and treated like disfellowshipped ones?
by Dunedain ina relative of mine was telling me, that in his, and a few neighboring congregations, there is a little confusion amongst some of the jw's about this "issue".
some families are having a hard time about whether certain relatives will be attending certain family functions, because some family members that are no longer in the "truth", might be invited to these functions.
mind you, these persons were never disfellowshipped.

I'm faded. My parents have relationship with me still and my sister and her elder husband refuse to communicate, while their sons (one elder, one ms) still will respond albeit at arms distance not closely as before. It's weird! The whole speak in unity thingy is obsolete as the value of this religion fades even to the faithful.

by Skepsis ina month ago i decided to register in this board.
i had decided to step down pioneering but was frightened about the consequences.
i had finished my university degree some months before (despite disaproval from brothers in my congregation) and i had to choose: continue pioneering and working in jobs with no future or starting a career, working full-time.. i was thinking to postpone the decisiton but... i was fed up with preaching.

Awesome Freddo. No need to feel bad about living your truth and the friends are still under the spell. Good for you! I love your responses and attitude. It's hard to let people down who held you as an example, but it's better then personal dishonesty which leads to depression, etc. best of life to you! Do you still regularly attend?

P.s.- which naughty emails have been proven untrue? Naughty is naughty maybe the Holy Spirit used Russia to reveal the Truth. 😱 Or did Russia create a Manchurian candidate Clinton into such a terrible candidate that trump kicked her butt? It was Russia behind it all. That king of the north. Oh my god! Trump is the stone from the mountain... ya that's it and why his son in law is buying up WT Brooklyn. It's all a gog scheme....for the end of the world. The end.

The crimes are in the Wikileaks emails. Thousands of them. If you take the time to read them you'll see the bigger picture. The deep state act as arms and drug dealers (who do you think ( some of ) the CIA work for) all over the world and when countries don't play ball they get bombed with a big dose of democracy. Hilary is part of that group and it remains to be seen if trump is. It was supposed to be Hil v Jeb wasn't it? Y? Lybia was suing for peace when Hilary urged Obama to bomb them, Y? Congressman Kucinich was involved in the peace deal. Why has he been so quiet lately? The other congressman is in hiding. Y? Google it. So was France I.e. NATO, wanting control of Lybian oil fields, its in the emails, France complaining Ghadafi had to much gold and silver to hold out. One could conclude that the tragic embassy deaths were a sloppy cover up and the money was laundered somehow thru the Clinton foundation. It's funny how Ghadafi was for Obama and against Clinton (when running against each other) refusing to donate to the foundation and that other African nations followed his lead, and after his death they all started ponying up to the Clinton foundation. Look at the You-tube Gen Wesley Clarkes video about post 9/11 Middle East strategy straight from the dod. It's so much bigger then political parties, trump is not mussolini or Hitler, he's Trump and within his organization you'd be hard-pressed to find any who would characterize him as such a bad guy. give him a chance, think for yourself and do your own homework. The tv news people get paid to entertain us that's all, not report in total honesty. Hilary would have for sure followed the war with Russia drumbeats, ( see the Clarke statements) at least Trump isn't publicly yet. We will have to see about him. But if you are looking to sentimentally elect a leader (First black, woman, etc.) without properly vetting them, then we are all doomed. Watch Clinton chronicles , and verify its conclusions yourself, it's very interesting if you want clarity on the clintons.
And if that isn't enough, read up on the Lolita express. Bill and Hilary have both been to that island as the flight logs reflect. Sick people! Years ago I read the lawsuit transcripts due to a news headline. It's a buried story.
Look at Huma's family background, YouTube has some verifiable reports.
There is overwhelming evidence, but you have to do your own research' just like TTATT. First step is an open mind.

P.s....the Congo move is good for the fade, step down at the same time citing adjustment period. I'd go super slow with the ex and avoid any negative org talk as that can impede a clean fade. Her CD could be triggered. She'll freak herself out and tell on you. (Or could) Fear of the unknown is natural, in career especially, enjoy each moment and your confidence will grow each day.

Congratulations on following your heart and guarding your thinking abilities . My kids say to "just do you" as a mantra and I think it's worth saying to you. Guilt is an awful tool used to manipulate another's free will and self condemnation results. Depression has been described as anger turned against yourself and internalized. Stick up for yourself respectfully as it appears you are doing; positive and encouraging self talk is vital for mental health, listen to and follow your gut. No longer pioneering is not a sin, working full-time is not a sin, not acting as a ms is not a sin. You are choosing your life. If you feel good and strong about yourself in your career then it's what's right for you in the moment. You don't owe any an explanation at all. I'd let your happiness show at the hall, chin up. When asked you can say I love my life, life is good, what's not to be joyful about? The witness reaction is def cognitive dissonance as they've been trained to goad you to feel bad about yourself like the violin player convention video. If you want to step down, summit in writing with a simple explanation and don't comment further when pressed citing you've prayerfully and scriptural determined this to be what's best for you at this time. Period. Our tendency is to overexplain ourselves to justify a different opinion when we don't need to or owe it to anyone. If you remain respectful, joyful, calm and humbly confident they can't blame it on the boogeyman, but will accept it as your decision. Calm respectful firm Decisiveness puts them on defense. If someone gives you 'advice-opinion", thank them and say you'll prayerfully reflect on it and that's it. I wish you happiness, and blessings for a full life. Keep talking...here and with good friends (worldly lol). As stated by others here, it can take years to shake the fear, guilt-induced thinking and give yourself permission to truly enjoy your life. Don't quit, it's worth the effort and journey.
