  california is quite obviously the best state in the US.

  i will never, ever leave. <3

  move to sacramento, azzie. it's close to EVERYTHING good, and it's got TONS of trees, and it's not too crowded or too expensive. and there are some great schools here, too. ps, KINGS!

  A call to the childfree/childless....

  any particular reason for such decision?

  i have health fears, so long ago i decided against having children.

  sometimes i feel afraid of growing old alone and lonely, but lately i've realized that having children is no guarantee of any future situation.

  i don't plan to have children. i'm far too young to have any now, but i don't forsee having any in the future, either. i just have never had any desire to raise children. i have absolutely no maternal instincts. i'm too selfish to be a good mother, anyhow. and too flighty as well. although i suspect it would be very difficult for me to conceive anyhow; my body's been through a lot and my reproductive system is sort of out of whack. oh well.

  you can have your religion and even your apathy... and not be harming anyone. but when you take it to the level where you become the judge of others, based on your beliefs, then you begin to hurt other people

  i would argue that apathy definitely harms.

  but as far as i'm concerned, evil can't be boiled down to a product of one specific thing. i don't even think you could come up with a specific and universal definition of evil; what's considered evil varies from person to person.

  sometimes when i log on to jwd i go directly to "jokes and humor" because i know that there will be something there that will crack me up.

  i love to laugh and i think humor is great therapy especially when alot of us have been through so much.

  its great that we can make fun of ourselves and can find the humour in many of our experiences.
