NaPoLeOn DyNaMiTe.......who liked it?
by freedomlover in.
anybody else love this movie as much as i did??
i think it says a lot about the type of person you are, or at least what kind of sense of humor you have, if you liked this movie or hated it.. so far, i've not met anyone who has been neutral on this movie - usually they either love it or hated it!

WOW!
Haven't seen that place for along time. That's where I went growing up on LI. Is it still called Bliss Theatre? Had some fun times running around that place. Remember when I was old enough 12 or so and my parents would let me sit upstairs with my older brothers(pioneers)....Kinda feel melonchaly when I think about it...pc

Lady Lee,
It's appears Robin and you were together on some higher plane in her last hours. I think her energy was with you and you comforted her in her last experiences here. In reading her message and with you hanging the pictures she knew how much you cared. PC

Showing Self Control
by Cori inwe spent some time at the in-laws this past weekend (they are very serious jws) and i literally became sick to my stomach.. how does those that are fading handle the visits with family or in-laws that are still jw?
how do you contain the constant need to blow up and answer everything they are spewing??.
btw, sunday came around, and we went to breakfast in the morning.missed the meeting without a hint of regret.

I too can relate. When I taked to my dad(85yrs old & MS they are desperate) I can barely take it. The unfortunate thing is I really love my dad, but I almost don't want to talk to him anymore. We have nothing to say to each other. I tell him all about my kids and what they are doing and he listens and then it always goes back to "the end of the world" (a REM song just popped into my head "It's the end of the world .....") BLAH, BLAH.
I have such seriuos saddness because I think sometimes of what might have been. All he cares about are the stupid"friends" and basically we mean nothing because we don't return to Jehobah. Sometimes I think I have really "disfellowshipped" him instead of what could be the other way around. How sad..pc
Hope this didn't go off post, just how I'm feeling today.

Last Thanksgiving my JW Elder brother and his wife were suppose to go to my other brothers house. My niece was coming up with her new serious boyfriend so everyone could meet him. My Sister-in-law(JW) would not come because other people would be there. She didn't want to respond to someone saying "Happy Thanksgiving". My brother the elder came anyway(how weird). Anyway this year it may be different, happy to say they just removed my brother a few weeks ago.

Crash
by The Jester inmy god...wut a powerful movie.
i actually cried... i loved it... most movies about racism only look at black and white stereotypes...this adressed all races....and i love tha connections each main character had.
really good analytical points in an entertaining way...tha acting was excellent... anyone else see it and agree or disagree?

I just received it yesterday from netflicks. I don't know anything about it, a friend recommended it. I'll probably watch it tonight. Sounds good from your reviews.
