  How many near death scary stuff happened to you?

  did you ever think that you should have died.

  i mean like scary stuff that happened to you and wonder why you are still here .

  i have had so many but the one's that stick out of my mind are ,when i took my son ( who was 16 at the time ) for a drive in my 1968 charger, when i heard a pop, i was going up a hill and all of a sudden flames started to shoot out of the hood.

  I recently found out I am a Diabetic. I passed out about 3 months ago ....and saw the tunnel and light. ..felt a floating feeling and then zap !! suddenly I was awakened by my wifes panicky voice as she was trying to revive me. To say the least my experiance was probably Hollywood inspired because it was a little too movie like and I had seen documenteries about this before. So no doubt it was just some or other brain trigger image..so No I don't believe I died I just suffered a momentary "pause".

  Today was a wonderful day ...NOT !

  since then i have : publicly (to all who know/knew me) told them that i am not a jw anymore.told all my relatives (jw's)told all old jw buddies written to the service desk and told them why i don't want a subscription to their trash maglet the local elders know i never want a call or visit again..and supplied them with a fine amount of apostate literature.told the local elders to put a warning on the territory card of my street saying i don't want any visits ,literature etcsmoke in publicgamble in publicbecome very patriotic and vote...in public.

  however to this day i am confused as to why....... they keep stuffing my mailbox with watchtowers and awakes.. today i recieved no less than 10 magazines forced and torn through the narrow slot of my mailbox.. i ask ...are they dumb and dumber thinking that 1 in a million chances of me returning....is still a chance ?.

  tomorrow i will return the favour.

  Unfortunately here you can put anything you like in a post box....I saw a funny notice at the post office lately >>>> NO LIVE ANIMALS TO BE POSTED PLEASE !!

  So I asked the lady ...are dead animals ok then ?? She gave me vacant look and said : Can't I read the sign it says no live animals ! Helloooooo!

  I nearly wet myself laughing. So If anyone wants a stuffed pet (real) just right to any South African and ask because its obviously legal !

  I was DF'd 10 yrs ago or should I say I was DA'd as well when I told the elders to go and get @#$%

  Since then I have :

  • Publicly (to all who know/knew me) told them that I am not a JW anymore.
  • Told all my relatives (JW's)
  • Told all old JW buddies
  • Written to the Service desk and told them why I don't want a subscription to their trash mag
  • Let the local Elders know I never want a call or visit again..and supplied them with a fine amount of Apostate literature.
  • Told the local elders to put a warning on the territory card of my street saying I don't want any visits ,literature etc
  • Smoke in public
  • Gamble in public
  • Become very patriotic and vote...in public

  However to this day I am confused as to why......

  Tomorrow I will return the favour. I'll park across the road from the KH and light a slow burning Cigar. I will wear the tightest pants possible, play the loudes heavy metal, tatoo my @$$ and forehead. I'll drink large amounts of cheap wiskey and shout obscenities, act as gay as possible(no offence intended).......err ..oops done that already ,,,whats your advice for my ongoing torture

  please dont take offence but ive just realised something maybe its been touched on before,.but when i was reading the thread on bil cosby i read the one off obviously secret.

  now as i am a white person i assumed he was white until he stated he was black.

  so when i thought about it, i imagine everyone on this site is white, does everyone who is black imagine everyone else is black, and anyone oriental imagine everyone else is oriental.

  I never presume race or color when online or when making a call because .....whats the point.

  The moment you start to go there someone will end up hurt..no matter what or how you try to say things...so its best to just leave it.

  What did people do before they had computers?

  just got my 5th computer on my home network, but i've wired this one up next to my other base unit with a belkin kvm switch box so i can actually control two of them at the same time.

  i'm pretty pleased with the result.

  i have to run netlimiter which is a really cool app.

  I can only dream of 40 in my bedroom ...wifey is always complaining about the hours and hours I spend busy with my hobby. In September I'll be buiding a gaming PC with nice new parts...(saving up for it).

  Was thinging of going 64bit but have reconsidered and will probably go 32bit with at least a 3.0Ghz.unless the AMD guys are going to spring a surprise by year end and come up with a super chip ?? Was watching clickonline on BBC a while ago and rumors are that where heading for a chip fest soon.??? maybe soon a Longhorn P5 64BIT 4.0Ghz with a nice Geforce7FX so that we can get at least 70FPS in aquamark3 !! and of course an 800w PSU to run my 4Gig DDR and 3 blue tooth DVDRW's and 80" plasma screen ...pant pant......

  Such a nice day dream (better than hustler)

  as much information, insight and entertainment this forum provides, some things about its format and design have come to annoy me.

  let me start by saying that i think one of the biggest weaknesses of this forum may be the active topics option at the top.

  it seems to me that some people may use this option just to see which topics are still alive.

  Yo Ball..glad to see there's another geek on this forum...I thought I was alone.

  I 've been mostly off line for six weeks now busy with a buggy PC I'm building. Mostly oldish P4 (2001/12) 1.50Ghz cpu with 440 mbo parts(IDE's etc)) with 2x256 sdram pc133's, 2x40GB HDD's, 1 cdrw and 1 DVDRW. Problem is I could only scrunge a 300w PSU so I'm gettin stuck in the infinite loop thingy ! I was fortunate to get a nice and cheap AGP ...Installed a GeForce FX5200 with forceware 61.41 (beta)and it goes like a rocket for about 20minutes and then crashes (not agp related). No BSOD just reboots with a 0x0000009c ! Hardware failure. So now I'm looking for a good PSU. ..maybe 450W. Problem is I can't get one locally so will have to order it. In the meantime I'm formating , benchmarking BIOSing, BEOSing and heatsink, cooling etc etc. Maybe I'll eventually find the crash fix but as you said ..what would life be without a PC.

  Ps .. so its you who put up the kingdom melodies on gnutella ! I suppose next they'll be on fast track and overnet hey !! hehehe only kidding .

  Pss..I also ran a MOHAA server briefly but it was eventually cracked and I couldn't stop kernel buffer overruns..some bstrd was pinging me with anonymizer/neotrace (I suppose to use as a keepalive connection or perhaps a port 135 hunt (almost 45000 interrupts on zonealarm in two days)?? so I couldn't keep it up for long since it was a dial up server for low ping ISDN...despite the gloriuos MSWup patches etc etc I kept getting buffer overruns and after the whole RPC threat last year I just decided I'd rather play than host...basically turned my attention to hardware as a hobby than apps and code

  Do you believe in psychics?

  hi there everyone, just wanted to see if any of you believe in any psychics or paranormal activity.

  i know that as a jw we are taught that any ghosts are demons and any psychic activities are demonized.

  would love to hear any feedback and or any pesonal experiences you have had and if you believe they are all demons, or if there is a difference between good and bad spirits.

  The Elders in my ex congregation were/are psychic !!!!!!!!!

  When I told them to go and get @#$#@..they said : dammit they knew all along that I had joined the dark side of the force. By using their book of shadows errrr sherpharding the flock etc etc they were able to forsee my betrayal and me becoming a the local Sith Lord.

  Ok ok ok so I watched a bit of Charmed and Return of the Jedi this week.
