Control, its all about control. Speculation is a form of critical thinking, discourage critical thinking and make the congregation dependant on you for all their beliefs, views and opinions and you have total control over them.

An Elder Told Me.... Many To Be Disfellowshipped Soon...
by Doubtfully Yours inan elder told me the book is jehovah's latest provision to cleanse his organization.. he said soon all people that have drifted, inactives, and others baptized and not complying with the biblical mandates for a jw, will be visited and given an option to shape up or ship out.. he said that if the person refuses the help offered by the congregation they'll be notified of the date of disfellowshipping and given time to appeal the decision.. he was so happy stating that this way jehovah's organization was preparing for the final clean-up before armageddon.
he sounded so convincing that it almost made perfect sense what he was saying.
i got goose bumps listening to his reasoning.. dy

If this does not happen now I believe it will most certianly happen in the future, I am convinced of that. I have believed for some time that the GB Nazis in their quest for a Master Race of True Christians would eventualy 'eliminate' all the flawed and impure from the True Believers. They will turn the Christian worship of Jehovah into a Ultra Right Fanatical Religion where anyone who does not worship the Golden Image of their personal beliefs will be thrown into the fiery furnace. I also believe there are more people today approved of God outside the Organization than inside! I believe the state of God's people during Jesus time is being repeated today! saul was the anointed leader of jehovah's people, yet he told them not to eat until the evening, an order which didn?t have god's blessing.

I've decided to disassociate myself tonight
by Dustin inthe kingdom hall where i used to go has the theocratic ministry school and service meetings on tuesday.
i have finally come to grips with my need to exit the jehovah's witnesses forever.
i told my parents today that i'm leaving the jw religion behind forever.

It just seems so strange. I always dreamed of living forever on a paradise, now I realize that was all a false hope.
Have you lost faith in the message of the Bible because of the Witnesses? If so, please reconsider. The cult mentality of the Witnesses doesn't come from God.

I'll see some old friends, some I really miss and care deeply about.
Me too, and yet, I'm shunned or treated as 2nd class by the majority. I'll go again this year but I may discontinue attending. I don't feel I'm abandoning Jehovah by not attending. I still live by His standards. Although, the Witnesses wouldn't always agree! Uh-uh, oh no, NOT him!

I think the mistake we once made, and the mistake current active witnesses are making, is thinking and believing that those leading the God's People/Organization could never leave the path God had set them on. That eveything is exactly the way God and Christ want it to be, without exception. Bible history clearly shows that Jehovah has a consistant way of dealing with humanity, from Adam and Eve till now, and that is, He informs His people of what He expects and then uses a mainly 'hands-off' approach with them. He allows His people to choose on there own how closely or not they will follow His way. That is why Israel repeatedly fell away and why early Christianity apostasized and why Jesus questioned whether He would really find the 'faith' when He returned (Luke 18: 8b). Also, because Jesus knew that God has given His people as an Organization and as individuals, the freedom to choose their own direction He warned what would happen if, when He returned, He found the Slave in charge of His people beating his fellow slaves and their menservants and maidservants (Matthew 24: 46-51 and Luke 12: 43-48). Jesus said "IF" for a reason.

elders visit
by stopthepain inyesterday,i get a buzz from the doorbell,well i wasn't expecting anyone,niether was my roomate.well geuss who,2 elders i don't even know.they tried to introduce themselves and act all friendly.i said"i don't want to talk to you abot anything,before i could finish my statement,he tried to butt in and say something,i cut him off and said"listen,i don't want to talk to you about anything at all",in a firm tone.and shut my door.. i believe they have gotten wind of my activities in giving my family the truth about the truth.i believe they wanted to draw me into a trap so they could df me,i gave them no satisfaction.i know for a fact other my younger sisters friends know i can't stand the religion,and it has gotten back to the big bad elders.i could give a shit!they can't fool me anymore.again,this site has been a godsent,no pun intended.thanks to all my friends out in cyberspace,youve all hel[ped me out.. i also unloaded on my older ,depressed sister about the truth about the truth,she was not sure how to react,but i had to speak my peace.i can no longer pretend to co0ndone or keep silent,she has a young daughter,i had to at least warn her.and when i say unload,i mean unlo(ad!!
