My best guess is that the 75/25 water to land ratio would have to be reversed to accomodate everyone.

jw's are in a cult just so the watchtower can make some money, they dont care about anyone or let them do anything, all they want is money whomever is still in this religon that is considered a sheep will in fact get killed when this so called armageddon will happen which it hasn't since the first time they predicted in the year 1914, but i got a prediction the downfall of your so called religon will happen in the next 10 to 15 years

What do you call God

ok, very interested to know, for those of you that still have a faith, and it seems many do.

what do you refer to god as?

is jehovah correct, is it not, is it too associated with jws for you to carry on doing that?

Do many of you still pray, I think this is hilarious, because the first time in about 3 years I've considered prayer and it's as a result of 'apostate' thinking!!

First time in years I've thought God might be worth knowing...

Also a ps, for those of you that read the bible still, is there a good translation? Simple, but accurate?

1. Correct, I have not lost my faith in God because of His grossly errant people. 2. Jehovah, that's the english form so that's what I use. No JW hinderance here.

3. Every day, usualy before I start my day or at the end of it or both.

4. He is, His people aren't because of their "programming" but He is...definately.

5. Zondervan's New International Version. I like it very much.

It is just that there is such a turnover in the JWs that more than 60% have been "in" less than 10 years.

WOW! Are you sure?? That would definately confirm my suspicion that there are more of us who are out than those who are in.

I enjoyed this weeks review a lot Blondie. Your point about a trend in 'walking' articles is well taken. The results of decades of errors in doctrine and the constant, condesending sanctimony from the WTS leaders and their minions are finaly coming home to roost.

My predicament lead me to discover how dark and manipulative the entire culture of the "Society" is; evil always wears a mask. The only way to survive this cognitive war is to don the mask myself.

Apparently so, and ALL that it implies! LOL

18 Today, those who become disgruntled because of fleshly thinking or unfulfilled expectations...

It couldn't possibly be that people are unhappy because of the bad treatment they personaly or others they know recieved from those leading or appointed by, the Society?? Or how about the constant pressure to perform or the extremly demanding and time consuming spiritual routine they must follow? Hmmmmmmm?

Looking forward to Armageddon?

my eldest daughter (21) said something that stopped me in my tracks yesterday.

we were busy wrapping christmas presents (yes, we've started early this year) for her younger siblings.

then she started laughing and said: 'isn't it nice to have christmas, birthdays, easter, bonfire night, halloween etc to look forward to instead of only looking forward to armageddon!'.

I realised a few months ago that I had never received a gift as a child from my Aunt and Uncle....NEVER!

That's really sad, I am sorry to hear it. Shame on them!

I'm still sure about the Armageddon thing.

Well, we don't agree.

One thing I have discovered, is that if you don't know history well, you can be tricked into believing anything, just to be part of a controlled mass of people.

I know there reasons as you say, concerning myths and history, for me its a matter of faith and belief. I believe Jesus existed and warned about the End and that the Bible still exists today for that reason. I also have come to believe that those who have been leading Jehovah's Witnesses since Russell are all of the Evil Slave and that's the reason for all the oppression and abuse of power coming from the WTS. When 1914 passed and Armageddon didn't come after waitng almost 40 years, they said in their hearts 'the Master is delaying'...and so the 'beating' began and still continues until the Master does arrive and deals with these Evil Slaves!
